Another great video Clayton! Excellent tutorial on twisting and styling your hair! I am semi freeform so I don't do as much maintainence as you. However, you locs remain healthy and on point! Continue to bring the content. #keepitlocd #Respect

That my Joie is the shit I use that on my locs. I like how it works good on the edges since I use my natural hairline instead of getting line ups

You are one of the few OGs I've seen YT who uses conditioner and leave in on your locs. I must be heavy handed because only certain conditioners have worked on my locs without leaving a residue. I like tresseme shampoos and will give their conditioners a try the next time im doing a deep condition -- thanks for the tip.
I agree with your caption re:locs can be low maintenance -- thanks for sharing your process.

Thanks for always watching! And I love the "As I Am" because it really doesn't leave residue, and if it does it still won't flake up on you. Also I've always used conditioner. Sometimes I even co-wash with conditioner and skip the entire shampoo process.

You cannot use just any type of shampoo on black hair!! On Caucasian hair... Yes!! Certain shampoos will strip your hair of oil. Black hair needs oil. This guy does not know what he is talking about!!!! It does make a difference to what type of shampoo you use.

Not just certain shampoos, ALL shampoos are going to strip your hair to a certain capacity which is why I said the most important products are the oils and conditioner you add back into your locs. Thank for watching!

@@claytonlogan9857 thank you for explaining that. Some people might take it another way. Love your hair. I am in my 4th year of dreds. Not as long as yours, but getting there. Lol.🤣. I don't want them too long.

It actually doesn’t. You use what’s best for YOUR hair. Everyone’s hair is different. 🙄

That’s a lie lol as someone who’s grown hair to her tailbone, shampoo is irrelevant but deep conditioning is everything
