Humans Transfer Their Lovers Into Robots

Nexxera, a tech giant company markets fully developed humanoid robots called simulants to the public while constantly reminding them of its precepts which are regulated by the Artificial Intelligence Compliance Enforcement. Meanwhile, a widow tries to relieve her sorrow by activating Evan, her deceased husband's simulant. When her grief persists, she tries disposing of him, but a rebel engineer enlists Evan in his grand scheme to terminate all simulant's precepts and co-exist equally with mankind despite the government's pursuit.
