T-Mez needs to calm down. He has taken his fair share of drivers out. Hell look at what he did at Port City back in April 10th,.

I hate the comment "just a racing deal". It's the equivalent of saying "I don't know. Shit just happens". There's no thought or nuance of what happened. Try racing and see how you feel when you're on the receiving end of it.

@@thxman1968 But it is also Axsom's job to not cross the track like that. There was onboard video from Axsom's car, he was already doing a wheelie and aimed to the infield before Pursley or T-Mez hit him.

Wow...glad to c everyone is ok. Had a great show at Grandview the night before....excited to see USAC Midgets back at Grandview in 2022...and will add the show at the Action Track to my must see for 2022.
If you look closer the car pulling the wheel stand is hit in the rear by the car behind him turning him sideways as well.. 💯 racing incident.
Yeah, some of these comments on here are pretty dense.
There's onboard video of Axsom. There was only slight contact and he was already aimed down the track, in a wheelie before that slight contact happened.
First of all, there was on board video of Axsom, there was slight contact from Pursley. The contact happened after Axsom was already in a wheelie and pointing down the track, really wasn't that much contact or did very much to change Axsom direction.
I say this as a racer and someone that is not a fan of Axsom at all. In my opinion, the main blame is on Axsom. He was the one that was aimed down the track and hit TMez, but a midget tends to turn pretty hard to the left when it's doing a wheelie. I don't exactly like the term, but it was a "racing deal" nothing intentional that Axsom did. Sure he's taken his fair share of people out in midgets and 600's, but this was not intentional.
Also what TMez did was really wrong, he himself has taken plenty of people out like this and completely fenced people and act like it's no big deal. For instance Ryan Timms at Port City. Completely fenced the kid, then in an interview. All he had to say is it's Slide or Die.
Thats for the win, this was the first lap and Axsom should have lifted as soon as he saw the front end of the car go up. Also yes TMez should not have done that because all Axsom's fault
Yep I agree. The driver couldn't control that wheelie so I don't think he was at fault. I've seen that happen allot of times. I'm glad Grant was OK and able to walk away.

@@Johnnyonthespot1 All drivers do that sorry bullshit but Thomas never looses his cool like that Axsom messed up big time and didn’t help it was lap 1, the last 2 months Thomas’s luck has been horrible getting in trouble left and right but he always remains cool and makes it back out the next night.

It's was racing yes but from tmez view he hit him down the back straight then tried to cut his nose off on corner exit. When your racing that close shit hits the fan fast and he more than likely didn't notice the other car pull the wheels off the ground as he was looking the the inside to see if he would be clear to throw a slider into t1
Hit him on the backstretch??? Axsom never touched him. Tmez jammed up behind Pursly and he dove under both. That was purely a racing deal

T-MEZ needs some self control. That kinda attitude has been in the racing world for WAY TOO LONG we race because we love to race. We shouldn’t treat racing like it’s a full time job we hate. We need new rules in place that would minimize theses actions. Disappointed.

Axsom is hyper aggressive. He’s a good drive but damn that was racing imo
T Mez is the most hypocritical driver out there. I’ve seen him straight up slide people knowing full well he’s going to put them in the wall and afterwards he acts like he doesn’t care and it was a “racing deal”. Hypocrite. This was a racing incident. T Mez needs to go back to his hauler and take a chill pill.

This is a false statement and very sad that someone thinks most drivers are like this I can tell you I’m starting first 3-4 rows I’m not “trying to get all I can out of the car” in the first lap he had 29 more opportunities to win.
He hooked the tack and the car jumped out he was not trying to do that starting up front

Emerson is young but you have to learn to control your car if you're going to run at the front. You can't throw your hands up every time you wreck somebody and act like you don't know what happened

I disagree. Racing is racing yes but in all fair play. Doing a wheel stand and not being able to steer not ok. Get out of the throttle then so you can steer. Easily could have been avoided
I’m hoping that the officials had a few words for Mez! Those type of actions are unacceptable, and there should be consequences for it. Before the haters start to hate on this, I know that tempers will fly in this sport and at a race like this. But, this kind of crap has no room on this type of stage! The least wait and see a replay Mez and if there’s A fault from the other driver. Then go off on him!
After that crap T mez needs a black flag and a fine. Maybe a night off.
Shoulda ran up the front end and curb stomped Axom.
Over rotated and then stood on it in an attempt to stay out front instead of pedaling and loosing a a couple spots. It was axoms fault.
He had 29 more opportunities if he lost the lead Axsom needs to learn some throttle control before he hits another bullring.
Getting out of your car to run down the track on an incident like that... really? Then getting into the face of the driver you are blaming... Dumb. If you don't know what racing is then you better go find another job to do.

@@AdventuresOutdoors First, T-Mez has no place being mad at anyone for any crashes. He has taken out tons of people just to pass them. Look at what he did back in April at Port City. Now as for Axom, he may be a kid, but he is in a man's sport. If he is going to hide behind the "I'm a kid" mentality, then he doesn't belong in these cars.
