Sringeri offers so many different approaches to Shankara's practical wisdom. Thanks a lot. By the way, there's an interesting conclusion of EInstein's special theory of reativity: There might be a sort of solar system (System B) similar to ours (System A); yet B has a speed thus near to the speed of light in vacuum, that (due to the phenomenon of Time-Dilatation) during one period of nightly dreaming on earth in B a hundred years will pass by here on earth (System A) . Similarly, there might be a system C even nearer enough to the speed of light in vaccum and from its view during one period of nightly dreaming a hundred years of a life in System B will pass by, and so on. In result, all these worlds might be - according to a calculation merely based on ordinary physics - nothing but dreams (compare Bhaja Govindam, Yogi Govdinda's advise:"Take the world to be a dream".) Death in A would be nothing but waking up in B, and so on. In conclusion, this world might be just that samsara and the resulting basic question were, how to get out of this samsara. Yet, because one doesn't know for sure - I wrote: "it might be thus even from Einstein's result of physics" -, it's important to stay reasonable amidst all one attempts to get out of tha maybe "samsara". In one of the benedictory lectures (Benedictory discourse of Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam, Daksihnamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri , lecture from the 25Th of July.in 2020, 28th Vardhanti - Anugraha Bhashanam of Jagadguru Sri Sannidhanam - th-cam.com/video/3UV0VAdFbpg/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_logo ) it's well explained that someone who hasn't grown up with learning Vedas and studying them and all that , but has went to ordinary school, went for a an ordinary profession, etc should try to become best in his profession and then should use it for the good in the world. The difference to the explanation in that bendictory lecture and for instace that "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's attempts to teach" is, that Mr. Mahesh didn't take care of that; in his movement pupils, students etc have been tempted over and over again to go for working fulltime for that "TM-teaching" and to forgo their studies. In my case I even had been initated compulsarily (I didn't want to learn TM those days, because Mr. Mahesh's teachings hadn't been convincing; furthermore, my parents didn't want me to learn it. Only a stupid, fanatic stately teacher of German language wanted me to learn TM and has misused his possbilites of influencing pupils by pressure of marks, etc. Thus I had to ask for initiation for being able to ay afterwards, that it' s not possible. because my parents don't give written permission.The TM-teacher who had been advised by Mr. Mahesh not iniated youngsters without written permision and had been thought by me to act according to:"I mustn't initiate you because your parents don't want it and because you are still of minor age", initiated me and thus didn't give me the chance to say to that stupid teacher: "It was not possible to learn TM, because my parents didn't give written ok". In result, I got persecuted in Germany and especially by psychiatrists in Germany who tortured me, in their terroristisc hope that they might torture away "pure consciousness" and to destroy that gained insight of mine that there is that "pure consciousness that exists out of itself". Having heard the above mentioned bendictory discourse, I now am sure that the path of life I had been going before the TM-movement had started to disturb it, would have just been the right one. In spite of this, I cannot deny that adding TM (twice 30 minutes morning and evening would not have been harmful to my life and it would even have been highly useful. But the TM-movement has turned out to be aggressive, and to cause problems by its importunity.) Unfortunatley the revived tradition of Shankarachary of Jothirmath has been broken again. (Final descison of the Supreme Court of Allhabad). I don't know who had falsified that writing due to which Swami Vasudevanand had been wrongly installed as Shankarcharya. Some western secret service who want to get rid of the TM-movement's basis? Mr Mahesh who wanted to call himself a Guru Deva? Some followers of Swaroopananda who wanted Him to succed in his 60 years of running to the Courts against Swami Shantanand, Swami Devanand, etc? I don't know and it's past. In "hall of all religions"/Varanasi that Laya-yoga has been pointed out, too A roman catholic monk (Josef Abs) has translated it into German language already in 1923 . The basic methods of laya-yoga have therein been said to be "of such transcendental ... nature as to..."; in this sense a basic laya-yoga-meditation-practice has naturally to be called "transcendental meditation". Unfortunately that Mr Mahesh never quoted, neither Chândogya-Upanishad's seventh lecture (even if he had been using it in his "Science of Being...", nor "hall of all religions", etc. He used to try to call it "Swami Brahmanda Saraswati's knowledge. But if I compare to such benedictorry lectures done by Sringeri, there's a big huge difference in the quality, Sringeri's lectures "work" and if Mr Mahesh said "don't do that", - at least some of - his TM-teachers did the opposite.). It's very fortunate to have Sringeri Math and the wise commentaries of Sureshwaracharya to Dakshinamootry, etc.
One more point. There is that writing done by shankara in which are laid down the qualities that some has to fulfill for being a possibility to become a Shankaracharya. In my opinion there has been forgotten one itemn. It is siad that Shankara died at Kedernath at 3400m above the level of the ocean. I suppose that Shankara who has been from the South (as far as my itemn of information is right) didn't know that "sickness of altitude"; he might have just died of that (Once, I almost died form sickness of altitude at 2900m; that mountain even isn't heigher than 3200m). It's not a matter of "training" not to suffer from sickness of altitude. Tibetans have a differerence in their DNA that causes that they cannot get that sort of "breathing-sickness of height"; yet their DNA causes that they die soon from severe Asthma at sea-level. On the other hand "ordinary people" can get that sickness of altitude. Shankara came fro the South and there the mountains use to be not that high. In result he just hadn't been born to be able to survive at heights like 3400m. Jothir Math lays not dangerously heigh (only something like 1400m). Yet the whole region has lost stability; many buildings have become damaged because the ground has started to sink. Even the "Jothir Math" building (1400m) and Badrinath temple (about 3200 m) have been suffering damages.
