Thank YOU so much for this video. I just repaired my Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine, Genio 2, very similar process. Actually a little easier than your machine. But it worked perfectly after this simple repair.
$6.50 in parts and my machine is alive again!!!

ahh thank you for a suggestion, checked my fuses.
But all of them looks normal.
So still looking for my problem

My machine has different issue: the Hot/cold selection lever doesn’t stay and comes back freely to center position. Machine turns on. Plz help. I have already disassembled the machine and heater and motor and flow sensor. Also blow the pipes with air and none seem to be blocked. I disassembled the pump to see any issues inside but i didnt find anything
Sorry bro I couldn't give you any idea I never met or solve. I hope you already found a way to fix it.
@@heespapa2805 thanks for your comment. It seems to be a circuit issue where it doesnt send receive a signal to activate motor and the electro-magnet to hold the switch lever in place.
Mine turns on but the lever goes across but does nothing bin job I think

같은 기종(모델) 입니다
증상은 전원은 켜지나 냉,온수 버튼 눌러도 무반응입니다
2주전까진 사용했습니다.물이 안나올때 해결법으로 나와있는 '냉수,온수 번갈아가면서 몇분동안 돌려라' 이건 기기에서 지익하느 소리가 났을때 하는것같구요,(물론시도는해봤어오)
밑 침도 뚫어보구요.
"소리 자체가 안납니다" 전원만 켜지구요
캡슐 홀더에 캡슐을 넣고 핸들을 밑으로 내리면 딱 고정되는게아니고 위로 튕겨 올라옵니다
(캡슐없이하면 고정되구요)
핸들이 고정이 안되는게 작동이 되지않는 원인이 될까요?
강제로 핸들을 손으로 딱 눌르고있어도 안되더라구요.
(어디서찾아보니 잠금핸들이 파손되서 작동이안될수도있다고해서요.)

Those connections looked far from secure. Wouldn't it have been better to use crimp connectors or even solder joints?
Yes your right. But sadly I did't have crimp connector. And the fuse is thermal fues so I thought soldering could cut the thermal fuse again. to avoid that happen I connect like that.

I just did this repair and thought the same. But the tubing holds it very firm in place. I am confident with his method.
