I don't think they are in the same genus so millet and adlai probably won't cross-pollinate. I'm curious where people still grow millet here. I read foxtail millet is native but I never heard of anyone growing it. Also where did you got your adlai? Would those unhusked grain sold online germinate?

I am growing Adlai Millet "Jobs Tears"in the Philippines and does great during dry season. Would Pearl Millet cross pollinate the Adlai Millet?

Found many lately. Super healthy.
