The hesitance when you describe certain things is hilarious "...the potential for pirates, thalamus infestations, or... *really big critters* is... way too real. Don't... just... drive into things full throttle."
I really like this series! Glad to see an indepth look at the world of Barotrauma and it's more technical side, however I have a few suggestions and feedback on how you could improve the quality of this already impressive series/channel. :) - Supporting subtitles, images, videos or sound effects would really add to the immersiveness factor of these videos, maybe even a branded OSR intro, would look very cool IMO. - Perhaps script your videos ahead of time, throughout this video it sounds like your making up stuff to talk about on the spot, which isn't too much of an issue, but the pauses and staggers throughout this video somewhat take away the "professional presentation" vibe one would normally take away from these videos.. -Perhaps a variant in background music as well? i absolutely love the OST Wartrauma, but it does get a little repetitive to listen to overtime, Barotrauma has some other great soundtracks, Alien Syndicate being one of my favorites. The music can be outside the game as well, as long as it adds to the environment and aesthetic of the video, would compliment your voice and visuals very well. - On the topic of voice, you do a very good job! You sound like you know what your talking about, but maybe a bit more emphasis on the professional/knowledgeable tone would add to the tone and aesthetic of the videos. - Finally, if your looking for some future content ideas, Role/Job tutorials, creature dossiers and even roleplay/storytelling would all be interesting to see, Barotrauma is a world full of stories and mystery, why not add your own flair? All in all, very impressive and in-depth channel you have! Your technical readout videos are informative and interesting to listen to, especially as background noise while playing Barotrauma! I hope you continue to grow and cultivate a community around this wonderful game, if you ever want feedback or suggestions, i'd be glad to help.
Hey, I appreciate the feedback! I do want to note these videos are scripted, but the more casual and speculative tone was an intentional choice for this video. I'll make it a point to try and shake up the music in the future, and I do usually have a tour of the sub on screen as you know, but it felt wrong to have that for the pirate subs, so I stuck to the overall visuals for this one in particular. Thanks again for the input, and hopefully the next one is better for it!
@@Techpirate_Productions Glad to have helped! Being a massive fan of Barotrauma, i'd be glad to lend ideas or additional feedback in the future if you so choose, your channel is unique in this space, so I look foward to seeing you grow.
Where do you actually get this information because I want to make lore for my own submarine but would like to be able to spell things like Orville and Wang?
If you're referring to reactors, the manufacturer is Teller & Wang. As for the rest of it, most of my information comes from the Europan newspaper, which comes with the supporter editions of Barotrauma and includes a wealth of lore and information
@@reilly2828 No trouble, and minor mistake the most commonr reactor is a Teller model, made by Horn & Wang If you need any help designing your sub, you can drop a line at my discord or the official barotrauma discord! There's plenty of folks who can help you out
Love this series! Pirate Subs is an excellent surprise I wasn’t expecting an episode on.

Man I wish you could buy these from seperatist outposts.
I like making pirate subs, the rickety look gives it character. I got a few sent to the workshop for evaluation
