    Thank you. Followed these instructions to the letter and it turned out fine. Use a strong stick to mix in the cement and as shown on the video important to layer it as it starts to set very quickly. Digging the hole was hard work so I just added a bit of water to soften up the turf.

    I made the mistake of digging a hole, putting in the plastic tube, then tried packing small stones and earth around it, tamp it down, and add a bit more until if was nearly covered up.
    Tried it out with some washing...........it fell over.
    So off to YT to find an sensible way of doing it, and this shows me how to do it.........B&Q next!

Tried out some wet washing on it a couple of days later, and after a few goes with that, the whirlygig dryer started to limping to one side......I give up, so it does the job, but lt's a bit wonky....and I don't care....:)

    I would have appreciated some overhead shots of what was going on. Also the reason for such extra large dimensions? You need plenty of room to mix the cement - it becomes very stodgy, very quickly and you need plenty of space to manoeuvre. Good video though - appreciate the help!

    • @chompyb
      @chompyb 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Think of it as a foundation, to stop the airer from twisting in the ground when the wind blows. As for mixing the cement - what mixing? He used postcrete, a pour in and water in pre mix, and so should you.
