I have no experience with metal working, and so always thought it would require a fair bit of space and specialized equipment to even do as a hobby. But, wow, this is an amazing introduction to the craft, and shows that you really don't need much to get started on small projects. I'm going to give this a try myself!
....and after the Copper Ring was forged within Fire of the Candle of Doom, Rob set forth from Mordor with his many minions to conquer Gondor, and then, all of Middle Earth....
A little disappointed as I thought he was going to use a thicker piece of copper and round the edges to look like an actual ring. Still enjoyed the video.
These videos makes me happy cause it is something I wish I got to learn as a child.
You guys should totally continue the show! I'm 30 years old and absolutely in love with your content!
Very kind of you, thanks - Rob

I love this. It's a nice project, so very well demonstrated and explained.
Found this video very relaxing.

I'm gonna make a ring for my boyfriend with this. Thanks
Wear your ring with pride and end up with a green finger 😂😂😂
If I recall correctly, a simple coating on the inside of clear nail polish will delay the green corrosion, for awhile at least. :)
Quite right-Rob
Thanks! To save time I found a copper pipe and cut it to size but now there's water spraying out of my wall. Any tips?
Move house, or invest in a good pair of togs.

Soldering the crack... there's a joke there somewhere, but it's Friday afternoon and I've run out of energy

Then watch your finger turn green.

I like a wide ring like this. All the ones I've worn with any frequency have been wide.
