The shelter seems super cozy!!! I'd also recommend the up 5 tent, I believe it's manufactured by a brand called RBM outdoors. I have one and it's great:)

I’ve got the up2. Camped in -27 for 5 days. Brilliant kit, highly recommend to everyone. Goes up in seconds triple skin, stove can’t beat it.

Lol. We're immigrants, so we think it's kind of funny that europeans (ancestry) like to do this sort of stuff. We've had our fair share of nature and we just like the comforts of a modern house. Yeah the view is good and all, but getting there, setting this crap up, the cold, lack of showers and sanitation, etc... It's fun to watch though.

My personal definition of camping is when room service ends at 11pm…but this was completely delightful to watch. You looked like you three were having such a great time.

@@AdamStewQuick tip on cooking potatoes.. put the cut potatoes in the pot with cold water and then bring everything to a boil. Cooks the middle of the potatoes more evenly and you don’t have to be scared of dropping raw potatoes right overtop boiling water. 👍

I just discovered your channel a day or two ago and I've really been enjoying it, but you kids are making me jealous. I wish I was young and vital again to go out adventuring and sleeping in tents, chopping wood, eating good meals like that, and hiking through woods again. Enjoy it while you can, appreciate it, and be safe. Great content folks.

As a child 52 years ago I remember sleeping in our garden under a sheet which was folded in half. We must have had some sort of groundsheet, but I most remember being woken at 4am because of the deafening dawn chorus. Lucky if you can hear 2 or 3 birds nowadays
This is a very cool way to camp! Looks very roomy and comfortable…and cozy. What I love most about it is the way you have your doggie with you and he seems to be such a big part of your life…and he’s so cozy camping! Really like this tent and the way you all take care of everything you need. The bed is fantastic! Really like the entire video! Great job!
Love it! Nooo to all those gatekeeping thoughts of "camping has to be rough, tough and painful." As long as you're out in nature, you're camping! If camping is more comfortable, more people would go camping and appreciate nature and perhaps we'd all have a better respect for it.

Boy howdy! That's miles away from my days of camping in a canvas tent. I really miss the whole camping experience... especially waking up in the morning to the quiet and snapping fresh air.

15:18 I do this with my dogs too. I cant say certain words around my dogs. I have to spell it out. It’s amazing how many words and phrases dogs pick up on.

I would add a 2nd 45deg stove pipe section so you can get the pipe verticle and secure it with BOTH tie down rings.

Love the tent...spacious, lots of light, and room to roam. I loved the wine recipe where you added stew material-LOL. When you were hanging out the next morning eating breakfast, I thought that snap was your chair about to bust a move-I was thinking you've been eating too well with Joelle's cooking! I love the inflatable tent! Very interesting and would love to find one. The set up and breakdown for it was super easy. Chester truly had a lot of fun!
Now this is a whole new way to camp. Set up your mini house and fireplace, have a couple of cold beverages and then make Beef Bourguignon. Now that is my kind of life😎. Perfect ❤️

I'm wondering if installing a stove jack where you cook inside to put an exhaust fan to pull the moisture out would be a good idea... Great video - I've been looking at getting one of those tents myself.

Pretty cool tent. Good idea on putting the welding blanket down under the stove. I'd run a battery powered CO detector, too, since that tent may be pretty air tight. The stove could be a legit source of CO.
And cooking with propane inside the tent 😳 Gotta have at least one window open for fresh air. Awesome tent though and great video.
I thought you couldn’t use a propane stove inside a tent.

Brings back memories for me. I camped in the summer only with my brother family of 4. I had a 8 man dome tent.,just for me. I needed a queen size frame n air mattress. Good Sleeping well was always priority. And camping/glampking near a potty/shower facility next priority. In my 20's n 30s that was fun but in my 40's n 50's its hotels all the way.

I really like the skylight ceiling with the velcro covers. Daytime or nighttime that was really make it pleasant to stay inside. 👍🏻
