Basically all soil has clay. You can make mud bricks which are better for the desert because they are easier to make and don’t have to be fired but they slowly erode in water, it’s not that bad but you have to do upkeep periodically. Where as actual clay bricks contain a higher content of clay then grog(crushed pottery) or sand is added then it is fired in a kiln. Water will no erode fired bricks.

How much clay and sand there is in the soil.With the sieve wich you work, a lot of sand is mix with the clay. But some soils they have a few clay,some others much more! Do you know the ratio of clay and sand for the fìre bricks?
