I have just wrapped strings of 100 incandescent lights on these. Would probably work better for you in the long run. I've also had to get rid of the movement. I've found that messes up the wire. Pretty much every one of these that I've had wiring issues with have had the moving head
Granted I haven't been following this series in order, but I can't believe you replaced every single bulb before doing the electricity test! As you discovered, most often it's not the bulbs but the connection to a bulb somewhere that the problem is in. The socket connections are as cheap as can be; the wire isn't even soldered to the bulb contacts, just spot welded. This was also a severe missed opportinuty to make use of the DarkKeeper Pro. It has an electricity tester as well, and it's much less sensitive than the one you're using here, making it far more ideal for this application. It also has a bulb tester, so you don't waste bulbs that work when replacing them all.
LED lights have ruined any kind of incandescent products out there. Since people are dumb and like anything with big bold letters, they buy it. And sadly because of that incandescent lights bulbs are fading away and I hate it. LED's will never be able to replicate the warmth and color a incandescent bulb can do and LED bulbs just lighten things up grossly
Glad to see you got it working again bro hopefully it will last throughout the Christmas season I enjoyed the video
