Just wondering. Have you considered doing a landscape in the Bob Ross method? I’m sure there are brush equivalents in procreate. Could be an interesting challenge.
Yes, I’ve considered it. In fact, in my personal art I do landscapes… I’m just not sure if people would like it.. but I’m willing to take up the challenge! Thank you for suggesting 👍
Great video. I didn't realise that selections were remembered from the gallery either! Just posted about you on my FB group (crafting) so hope you may get some more subs!
Thx I am no where new to procreate and I learned a bunch like the subtract part and clicking the white dot. Subbed and liked for sure.😊 oh the gallery thing!
Can someone please help? The freehand selection tool isn’t working properly. When I go to freehand and then select “remove”, I’ll make like a circle or whatever shape and the inside of it should not be deleted but it is. The “add” for the freehand does the same thing, which is should, but the remove one should act the opposite of how the add works but it isn’t. I hope I explained this fine. Does anyone know how to fix this? (I can’t deleted the app, I have no backups)
Hi, I’m not sure if I totally understand your question but here is how the selection tool works: 1. If you make a selection, tap the gray dot to complete the selection. You can continue to add to the selection since the “ADD” button is on by default. 2. If you enable the “REMOVE” button the area you select is unselected once you tap on the gray dot. 3. And of course, you can select an area again by enabling the “ADD” button. * When something is selected you see two things. An area that has a pattern overlay (UNSELECTED AREA) and an area that “does not” have a pattern overlay (SELECTED AREA). ** The only exception is when “COLOR FILL” is selected. At that point the painted area is the “SELECTED AREA”. I hope this is helpful…
@@thedoodleworks already have dreams but find it hard to use because it doesn’t have a selection tool. so i still do my animations in the regular procreate 🤷🏻♀️
What can I say that I haven’t said before? I’ll just say it over and over. You’re awesome Hector!❤ I’ve learned so much for you and learning how many different ways to use the Procreate tools has been a game changer. I always loved Procreate but, you’ve taught me to love it even more. Thank you so much.❤❤❤ I was wondering if you could do more on the selection tool. The remove tool, save selection, and add tools. When o want an elipse a certain size, I usually make it too large or too small. Is there a way we can adjust the size to be more accurate?
Thank you so much Debbie! As a matter of fact next week I get into selection tool a little more. 🙂 but let me explore the resize question. I love a challenge 👍
Another thing I did not know!! I use selection all the time to move parts of an image, but did not know about the long press to make it so useful for color work! THANKS!!
