This is the first song I've done the art for, so I hope you enjoy my depiction of our brass-plated buddy!

They played Frog’s Theme and Robo’s Theme during the Parade of Nations along with themes from a bunch of other games like Kingdom Hearts, Sonic, Final Fantasy, Ace Combat, Monster Hunter, SoulCaliber, Nier, Gradius, the SaGa series, Phantasy Star Universe, and the Tale series.
Oh my god I need more Robo in my life. His theme is like one of my favorites and Steel makes him sound so adorable ;w; The effects and slightly stilted formal speech patterns gives it the robotic feel without overshadowing Steel's gentle voice. I'm definitely hoping for more Robo centered songs ;A; goddamn it, I didn't expect to get my heart stolen so quickly. I held out against sans forever... Not strong enough for Robo... *pats him* Don't worry Robo, you were always in my party when I could. Even if you couldn't use magic. Anyway. Back to the rest of the video. The disparity between the cutscene and the voice dialogue wasn't so bad this time, possibly because skittering meese feet are supposed to be soft. I really enjoyed Sym's enthusiasm upon Lucca discovering Robo. The "I'd better get to work..." line trails off into some delicious implications as she dodges Marle's Statement. Speaking of Marle, Chi-Chi's "FIX IT????!" both made me jump in surprise and was hilariously incredulous xD Good job. The little noises during Robo's activation felt like they fit with the beat of the music as it starts and it makes me happy ;w; The lyrics are wonderful. I want to cover this. The first verse where he gives his designation is just sso...cute? I just want to cheer robo on. Poor thing is apologizing for being so formal and it feels so earnest. (can I mention that Marle's giggle is so adorable, and I love the implication that Crono can't come up with good names) He just wants to do his best and help out in thanks for Lucca's repairs. I love when Marle and Lucca join in during a line in the later half of the song. It's something I've been noticing in a few songs actually. That's one thing I'm enjoying about this party-based musical instead of UT's single-character based one. There's always going to be multiple people in a scene because of the party based system, and while this can lead to more complexity in the dialogue, recording and mixing, it also allows for surprise harmonies as people join in("together we'll save history!"), or a sung interjection from another character (Lucca's "we warped here through time/our homes we will find") Juno's art is incredible. Lucca's expression in the first artwork was adorable, a mixture of smug and triumphant, and I love how he drew Robo. He's oddly soft and rounded for a robot, which the shading helps with, who are usually depicted with much more angular lines. The posing --er, well, pose is great, and I love the beams of light going from solid to translucent with every one else excitedly watching. It amuses me because we know he has lasers (and even a healing beam iirc?) so we know he has the capability to emit light, so while yes, it could be a emphasis thing, I choose to believe that he's excited enough to light up like a lil disco ball. I'm also really enjoying Crono's perpetual bed-head as opposed to spike-head. I like that we got to see more marle here. Her lil hair strands add to the expressiveness. ...needless to say I'm enjoying these and keep up the excellent work
When I played Chrono Trigger on my super nintendo before it broke, I was always like ROBO YOU IN MY PARTY FOREVER YOU ROBOTIC CINNAMON ROLL CUZ I LOVE YAAA 8D He's... awesome, and now if I ever get chrono trigger in the future, his voice from THIS video will play in my mind owo Man on the internet picks such perfect vocies, they are not headcanon for me :D

I especially love Chi-Chi’s “FIX IT?!”, that made me laugh a lot. I think this was one of the first songs Juno did art for, and he NAILED Robo! The colours, the shading, the poses, they all work so well together. And do I need to say anything about Steel? He went from the bass Sans to this, I mean his range is stunning!!! My old one was basically me reading his dialogue and imagining his voice sounded like a hybrid of Alpha 5 from Power Rangers and C-3PO. ....It was about as weird as it sounded but those were the only robot voices I was familiar with. Steel's voice work fits the character perfectly, though, which is why it is new head-canon voice. So once again I must congratulate you guys on your amazing vocal talents. You just keep nailing it perfectly! So we are almost through the main casts' intro songs. So what else am I anticipating after those are done? Hm... Well, I suppose there is a chance that the Mystics could have a sort of a anthem piece stating who they are and why they fight in the Cathedral, or when you enter Magus' Castle. The second one could even be led by Ozzie, Slash, and Flea.... That'd be cool if it happens. Maybe we'll get a song with Azala and the Reptites that has some back and forth between them and Crono's group to the tune of the song Azala. Maybe a duet between Schala and Janus to Schala's Theme? Honestly, there are so many tracks and the game and so many moments that trying to predict what we're going to get is next to impossible. Is that going to stop me? Nope. I enjoy the challenge of trying to guess at what comes next. Sometimes I end up guessing right! This is going to be a fun production to watch straight through when it's done. Calling that now. But what else can we expect from the talented people at Man on the Internet. I've said it once and I'll say it again: You guys rock!

This is the greatest thing I've ever had the honor of viewing in my life. How is it even possible for anything to be so incredible? Robo is so cute! This musical is my only experience with Chrono Trigger, but I can definitely see the storyline forming. Everything from this production so far has been absolutely beautiful, and every time a new character/theme is introduced, I have a harder time picking a favorite!

As I'm sure someone's mentioned already, the mixed writing for these (i.e. the lines where everyone chimes in back and forth or adds in for surprise harmony) are coming up a lot in these songs. I know I for one am really glad because it adds a feeling of togetherness, which I really felt a lot from the game itself. Great artwork, like always. Great lyrics, for reasons other than just the one mentioned above. And great job everybody!
