It's always been about finding that Mythical big carp that no one else knows about and in this series I've finally done it. Wicked mate, always enjoy your vids! One bit of constructive criticism though... the levels between your bits speaking to camera and the scenics with tunes in between is always a bit off. I find myself hurriedly turning the blasting tunes way down, then quickly turning you talking up so I can hear what you're saying.

What mainline and hook size do you recommend for that style of fishing? Nice 1
On my stalking set up I normally use 15lb mainline straight through so If I need to put a bit more pressure on due to snags then I can. Also I will use as big a hook as I can get away with in the situation as long as it's hidden in the bait.
@@thomson2910 Does your line sink as I always thought it had to float for freelining bread? Unsure on what line to purchase for my stalking setup this year. Thanks for reply!
@@DlZZEE I prefer for my bread to sink slowly through the water than fish it on the surface.
What 15lb mainline do you think is best for fishing up to 80yards? Great video by the way
Good luck with the "guesting" in the future buddy. It's nice to see this kind of thing still goes on. The added buzz of getting caught somewhere that you shouldn't be is a part of carp angling that is rarely spoken about these days. Although it's not encouraged realistically who can resist?
Tip: loose the music and add more hushed Voices and wobbly camera shots for added drama.

3lb 6ft mate, absolutely love them
Forbidden Routes I’ve got some 10ft 3.5s and 3 I use for floater fishing.
