People be telling hip hop history tot as totally wrong. Because they just go by what group was the most popular and what they heard first on the radio. Before NWA Just Ice was calling his self the gangster of hip hop with all gold fronts with his name on them. That was in the early 80s like 84 ,85, that's where the south got that style from in NYC, and Schooly D was saying he's the gangster and doing gangster music and the Hill Top Hustler all back in the early 80s before NWA was even though about research
