    ADD BONUS LEVELS:
    LEVEL 7: Blobs of any size!
    LEVEL 8: Blobs (any size) must walk backwards!
    My students are absolutely LOVING this game.

    For Level 1, I have the kids who have been tagged move around the edges of the game area trying to tag people who get too close instead of having them sit out. It helps keep my kids more engaged and keeps the kids who are still untagged wary of the edges.

      Definitely adding this idea to the game today for my kids.
      If not they will try and take over the world in that little time they sit out lol.

    Couple questions:
    1. So when there is one blob they walk and hold their thumb up to show they are a blob?
    2. With multiple blobs do they have to wait until they are a blob of the given number before moving and tagging?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi. Starting in Level 2, if a player gets tagged then that player needs to put their thumb up (so that other players know they are tagged). In level 2, the ‘blobs’ are only single players so yes they show their thumbs up. In all the following rounds, single players who are tagged still show the thumbs up (the sign to tell others that they are tagged) until they blob up, and once blobbed to the appropriate size of players they can tag others.
      Blobs can move around (walking) but can only start tagging once they are the appropriate number.

      @@physedgames I think I have the same question. Let's say you're in round 3 and only 3 people have been tagged. Do two join up into a blob and the other person just walks around normally until a fourth person is tagged?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RobertHill-bp6qt yes that’s correct, if 3 people were tagged, hopefully 2 of them find eachother then BLOB up. The 3rd player who was tagged would walk around with the thumbs-up until a 4th player got tagged, then they could find eachother and BLOB up

    Great game! We had a few blobs "guarding" the hoops. Is that "legal"?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames  ปีที่แล้ว

      I let blobs of 2 and 3 ‘guard’ the hoops as long as they aren’t completely surrounding the hoop. But I don’t allow bigger blobs. To make it easy you could implement a no guarding rule if you want!

    When does a round end?

      When majority (or all) players have been tagged

    Gotta ask...how are you ultimately making tagged students walk instead of run in lvl 2?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I thought it might be an issue but honestly was surprised, they usually listened pretty good to the rule!

    How long can the student stay in the hula hoop?

    • @physedgames
      @physedgames  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They can stay as long as they want (unless someone says the password to them, then they must get out of the hoop)

    Maybe the two “bad guys” can move around the gym “inside” another hula hoop, holding it around their waists? What do you think?

      Try removing a hoop when it gets down to 4 and then another when it's down to 3 etc. Always keeping one less hoop than untagged players.

    How do kids remember what hula hoop is what password? Are there ever any conflicts between students confusing a hula hoop with the wrong password?
