      I ain't accusing _anyone_ of any _thing_ but this whole premise is utter BS. If these situations were arranged via internet, how hard is it to put a personal &/or professional disclaimer somewhere? There is NO way this was the "first time" any woman in those situations were propositioned. So anyone claiming _that_ as if Only This Monster did this. yada-yada.

    Purdy getting ranked in the d and f tier lol 50:26

  • @choosecarefully408
    @choosecarefully408 ปีที่แล้ว

    How Broad does your 'S' tier have to be to include Hurts? Mahomes puts up about 80% more production _without a WR._ Lamar Jackson without a #1 WR puts up 14 more TDs than Hurts does with The Best O-Line & the #1 or 2 WR duo. _What_ has he proved so far other than it takes him two years longer than everyone else being considered just to do less?
    I do think he's about to move closer _to_ that status but no way has he made it yet with only 22 passing TDs under these conditions (& I refuse to consider the other ones gotten by the o-line throwing him over the goal line as genuine or even earned TDs on his part).
    It feels like you completely forget the importance of the Other Players when discussing QBs individually. Compare him to Fields who had no great WRs, a team that ranked last in receiver separation & one of The Worst O-lines: Hurts tossed all of _6 more_ TDs than him? *That* = "élite?"
    Methinks you're all giving into peer/fan pressure here.
    I'm a huge fan of Fields, but until he actually _does anything_ I don't thrust him up a tier based on my wishes. I understand he's in a terrible situation. I'm neither making excuses _nor_ assuming his greatness based on that though. Sorry if I sound harsh, but guys, seriously: 22 TDs isn't élite production from _anyone!_ If Derek Carr had tossed that many on this team, no one would be calling him élite.
    Lamar Jackson: I can't be the Only Person who recognizes that Greg Roman is either totally incompetent or was doing what he was paid to, deliberately sabotaging his chances of getting a Big Contract. Either way, that's all gone now, so it's really a matter of if his offense can keep up with _him!_

  • @anthonysclafani3963
    @anthonysclafani3963 ปีที่แล้ว

    OCs make such a difference. We just saw how bad Hackett was last year, Roman's a run genius but infamously horrific at everything else. The delay penalties alone caused a ton of problems, that's not even considering the atrocious play design and spacing. Lamar's long-term health is a question mark but it'd be hard for the pass game to look noticeably better vs last year. Plus the defense and run game are elite, if they can stay healthy Bmore is a tough team

    No way does Justin Fields belong in the same tier as Jackson, Burrow, and Herbert. He's had a billion excuses, fine, and I understand the optimism now he has a better supporting cast and that he's likely improved his passing skills, but we don't know he can perform like these other guys. @Billy-Muzio ปีที่แล้ว

      Even with a 10% increase in efficiency and pass attempts they are still bottom 3 in the league. 15% equals bottom 4. Some teams are just run first.

    • @bradgilbert6718
      @bradgilbert6718 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Billy-Muzio and who was last in passing in 2021? Where did their "run first" QB finish in fantasy last year? Some coaches are rational and can change their spots. The past isn't the present, models aren't reality. Analytics only take one so far... and Mr. Moneyball himself still hasn't won a championship.

    • @choosecarefully408
      @choosecarefully408 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bradgilbert6718 Agreed. I more or less _"feel"_ good things for the Bears this year with a couple of caveats. _Can_ the coaching use this team to its fullest? & Fields leaving some wide-open receivers standing out there towards the end of the season.
      The semi- or subconscious (SC) seeks _patterns._ No one consciously decides to seek negativity, it just creeps in. So the three scenarios are 1) he didn't see them because he evolved an expectation that they wouldn't be there & open. 2) He puts that all behind him & moves forward. 3) Lovie Smith said "don't force it; Leave the rest to me."
      Hey, I didn't say that they were all *realistic* scenarios. Joking aside, I feel that Fields prefers less structure & long throws. _However_ even the addition of Moore doesn't guarantee this second thing. For this team to be successful, he has to vary it up.
      They added Tonyan to the TEs & maybe Scott can get open down the field as can Moore. That's a _best-case scenario_ that I hope that the coaches go for.
      Why? Because 2 deep threats with Mooney who likes run-back routes (interviews) with TEs who can block, fake block & receive mid-field with RBs who can block, run & receive gives them _SO much_ ability to stretch the field it won't matter if that makes it impossible for Fields to get through all his reads & misses some Golden Opportunities. Because, as you said, "60.4 % of 550 is more than of 399." & if those are longer passes, this compounds.
      Hack, Fields *not* going after those receivers down-field might be a _good sign_ that he won't force things. Who knows? This team's ceiling is what? Immeasurable. I expect them to make the playoffs. Having the Vikings (with no D) & the Packers in their division should help.

    Sorry, Joe. Philly is not a class above everyone else in the NFC. At least not that far above the Niners. No one wants to talk about it of course but their schedule last season was cupcakes. The NFCC Game was the most ridiculous thing we have ever seen. If they weren't forced to play Johnson (still makes me sick) that game would have been much different. Even the play he was hurt he was going to Aiyuk who was streaking open on a crosser and had the ball made it, would have been a TD. It was 14-7 at the end of the first half and before that turd fumble a shotgun snap giving them the ball back to score on an already gassed defense again. Philly got lucky, plain and simple.

      San-Fran _is_ #2 & *can* beat Philly. But I wouldn't put $ on that.
      As an aside, I have very low confidence in both HCs. I think that Andy Reid exposed that Sirianni can't make in-game adjustments. As for Shanhan, I feel I need to mention that before this past season ('22) I hadn't watched the NFL for years. So I didn't know he was the architect behind Atlanta's blowing that infamous 28-3 lead.
      Shanahan _still shuts down_ his entire offense if he's up two scores in the second half. It's as if he think this is hockey & that the team can't play both.
      The good news(?) is that there's very little chance that the 49ers go _up_ two scores against Philly if they meet in the playoffs.
      That's also the _bad_ news.
