The acting from the women on American Horror Story gives me chills when I watch them. They are amazing. From Jessica Lange, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and my absolute favorite Sarah Paulson. It's like they pull something from each other and extraordinary things happen in front of the camera. My favorite season, and my favorite show as a whole of all time.

i never watched american horror story until this week because they had papa legba and voodou in it, but man.. the acting. it was amazing. i tried to watch another season of american horror story but it wasnt the same as this season.

Misty Day broke my heart in the best way, Madison was a roller-coaster, Zoe was perceptive, Cordelia endured the worst and Marie Leveu (Pardon My Spelling) had SUCH a powerful role in all of it, it's probably the best if not second best, BUT HEY

Madisob was really a roller-coaster. In season 3 shes a bitch bc she is not loved and understand by anyone. But in Apocalypse she saves Moire, and helps violet and tate, and sacrifice herself for the coven

So much is outside of her control growing up (pressures of child acting, neglect from parents, and inclination toward drug abuse to cope). Before she dies at Fiona’s hands, she was bitchy, sure, but still had humanity. After she was brought back to life, there was such a darkness to her (even said so by Madison herself from seeing nothing on the other side) that it’s almost no surprise she went off the deep end by leaving Misty for dead, abusing Kyle, and refusing to revive Zoe.
Glad to hear she had a redemption arc though!
The first and favorite season I ever saw of AHS! So happy they’re doing a Coven, Murder House crossover yes!

over the years i have done 12 marathons of the coven, 3 marathons of hotel. I think that is what is called a fan of the series. love it so much ! all the characters.

i was hooked, it was a season with every witch giving "attitude" not seen before. hotal was good too but ups and downs. but both very scary, horror !!!!!

re watching this currently and it remains THEE BEST SEASON OF AHS HANDS DOWN so happy they brought them all back in apocalypse hopefully they can all come back again

It's 2020 so they've come out with other seasons since Coven but I still feel that this one is their #1 BEST

Everything about this season was great
Hands down great season!!! I missed the two first seasons on TV so i bought them they were awesome. Season 3 Coven was almost done playing on tv so i just waited till it came on dvd OMG it was great! Season 4 not my fav.

BEST SEASON EVER
I’m watching in order and I have watched murder house, asylum and just finished coven! In my ranking Asylum is the current best but coven is next up! It is amazing kept me at the edge of my seat and I love the humor in this, I laughed and giggled so many times and I really wasn’t expecting it from a series like this. Hoping the other seasons can top these two or at least be on a similar level.
As great as the last seasons were i think AHS has fallen into a trap of good execution but horrible writing . Case in point with the last half of Apocalypse. The season started so good but fell short towards the end because of lazy writing. And its evident here that the writers themselves just let the story play out and wait till it concludes itself. I mean really not writing and planning who the next supreme should be until towards the end is lazy writing to me.
But hopefully they go back to their roots of gore and real horror. Or just make a Coven spinoff because literally it can stand alone on its own. Case in point again from the recent season.
