I remember when a friend got the VHS Propaganda from the USA, we were between 13 and 17 years old. Here in Brazil it was extremely difficult to get skateboarding videos or magazines and they were very expensive. Your part was definitely the most impressive of all time, we were pressing rewind on the ollie over the gap for half an hour trying to understand how you had done it. If someone makes a list one day "The 100 most spectacular tricks of all time". your Ollie must be on this list. And now more than 30 years later, at 49 years old, I still have you as an inspiration. Thank you!! 🙌
Same here, same age, I am 49 now and was 14 back then. In Italy also was very difficult getting videos but a friend of mine brought it back from the USA. That Ollie over the huge gap at the time was something we could not even comprehend, definitely one of the top 10 craziest tricks of all time. Thank you Frankie Hill for all these years of inspiration.
Hell yeah Frankie! Still have that mad pop. Id probably break the spinal trying to get over that now. You gotta rock those dope baggy sweats again to give u that extra flexability.
Thought it said "Bones" on the hydrant, at first. That's a big obstacle to conquer. The capacity is still there! Hefty slam too. 0:46 would be a great poster on the wall!
Just wanted to say thanks for teaching me a lot of tricks when I was younger when I used to come to Powell when you guys had all the ramps set up in the warehouse, you and Steve Mike M Mike V many of your other older teammates really helped show me and my friends the ropes and I appreciate it I never really had a chance to thank you guys. I’m not on Facebook anymore too much drama, but I did get a chance to think Steve and Lance Mountain. Glad to see you’re doing better bro.🤘🏻💪🏻
BRO, I learned switch big spins on that beast in 1990. I'm 47 and just got back into skateboarding after 30 years about 6 months ago. And thanks for being a big influence on my skating back in the day!
Description says: "This is a session of me filming myself. It is a good video to show what it takes to make it happen by yourself." ^ Makes it pretty apparent that he left those non makes in there intentionally to show it's about commitment to seeing it through. Always read the description when there is one. It avoids cases of publicly demonstrated derptitis.

Keeping the dream alive, raw, DIY style.
I love it.
