Listening to Paul playing the theme song sounds so magical. First time I saw Helen Hunt was in "As good as it gets", I was 8 years old, first movie crush. Of course I wanted to see everything that she did and, I found Mad about you because of that. With each note he plays, I can see kid-me watching that show all over again. (gotta finish this interview later but, Paul is so good at storytelling)
This guy's good on a different level and for some reason he's underrated and doesn't receive the credit he deserves. It's like people are blind. I don't get it.
I remember watching some M.A.Y. in the early 90s while I was in high school; I sensed it was special but I couldn't quite connect with the story (me being the wrong demographic). But forward decades to now, and I'm watching all the seasons of M.A.Y. on Amazon Prime with the wife. We love it.
A really great interview, and I love the random piano playing. such a cool idea to have the interview take place at the piano so we could experience another one of his many talents.
Gracias Paul x entretenernos sanaMente k ese programa que ha perdurado en el tiempo. Lo estamos viendo otra vez por cable y es como un balsamo ante tanta sosobra mundial.
A great interview, wonderful! Thank you for sharing. One thing leads to another. I recently rediscovered (and am appreciating), all the talent I found on My Two Dads. Delighted there is much more entertainment, performances by Paul, to look forward to.
Just a few minutes ago, I saw a rerun of My Two Dads in which he played an especially difficult, piece by Chopin (if I remember correctly from when he introduced it). Researching whether that was really him playing led me here. I don't remember him ever playing piano in an episode of Mad About You. If not, seems like a missed opportunity. Do any of you happen to know?
I absolutely love the Mad About You Theme song!
Yes loved that song but not when they changed it after several seasons to a female singing it - sorry. Loved him and John Pankow working together.
Whoaaa this is surprised me. He's so talented. Such an underrated entertainer.

This was a great interview and discussion. Paul Reiser was also in an Amazon Prime show called Red Oaks that I really enjoyed.
My husband and I absolutely love and appreciate Paul Reiser…what a man of great integrity

I don't get it.
He's better than 90% of what's out there today. He's a masterclass.
… and now it has sold over 48 copies! Watching this extremely multi-talented man play the piano is a wonderful treat!

Paul's character in Kominsky was excellent. Powerful role.
This was great! Such a performer! I’ve looked all over TH-cam his dog/potato chip bit- one of my favorites, stuck deep in my subconscious…
Same. I am the dog.
I don't think he gets nearly the credit he deserves for the musician that he is. Wow his fingers are so fluid on that keyboard
I agree--good chops, good feel.
Man is humble AF: actor, musician, comedian, author.
Love this guy.
Hello, thanks for the continued love and support.
Paul es un actor muy talentoso, y la industria de la televisión no le ha hecho justicia. Para mi es de lo mejor en la televisión norteamericana
thanks, I love this, great interview

Never really paid much attention to this actor until the Kominsky Method he's excellent in that.
this guy ❤️
Hello Larissa, thank you for the continued love and support
Wow! I didn’t know he was such a great musician.
Thank you for the kind words and compliment, I would love to have a conversation!
I was surprised Mad About You was rebooted. The finale was so perfectly executed (especially when you consider Seinfeld)
Thank you for sharing.

Mad About You was the epitome of pap.
Citizen Kane has some of the worst fake-aging ever.
