Curious about modular synthesis, electronic music, and sound design, but unsure how to get started? I have something for you! Join my free "intro to synthesis" mini course here: www.soundandsynthesis.com/firstpatch2022
PS: You don't need any special gear to do this-just a computer with VCV Rack (which is free to download).

so once more: thank you. thanks to you i got myself a real trumpet today!! the way you create sounds with your trumpet-recordings fascinated me since i saw the first video and i try to establish my own amateur level variant... and for that a trumpet was the desire. tonight a old friend came to visit from the netherlands and he brought me a pre-war trumpet he had found in a thrift store . i love it. from the first momenti touched it, justholding it and pushing the valves is a imense pleasure. and even with my very basic skills i was able to put some real magic into a music score i am working on at the moment. the little unique touches i was able to put in here and there made all the difference and i am realy crazy happy tonight. and just for the fun of it, here is what i know about my new treasure from the technician that overhauled the valves in the netherlands: it is a bessons and co. from london... wich as he said used to be a good brand in pre-war days. but it is a fake one!!! to see by the quality of the work and that the brand is stamped into the metal and not engraved...and that it is misspelled doesen't help the authentissity either.he said those fakes were made in big numbers in india in pre war days... all this make me love this strange instrument even more. keep on with your inspiring work!!

"What's in a name? " A lot, I would say. Moog is competing with the form factors popularized by the Korg Volcas and adopted by the new Roland line (and others) , but for $450 (price here in Canada) you can get better semi-modular monosynths, including some with keyboards, especially since Moog is also downloading some of the manufacturing costs onto the end user by having them do the final assembly.
Very nice demo and a fun looking little synth. If it were $250 or less it might be a no-brainer but the current price is too high IMO.

Hello Sarah, I'm 19, and unfortunately, I've never learned how to play an instrument, but I found your Spotify and decided to listen to some of the experimental music that you've made, and I've just fallen in love with what you're able to make and would love to get to learn more, the only musical DAW I'm comfortable in is Garageband, which probably isn't the best DAW I know, but I would love to know what you think I should do if I wanna start to learn how to use synthesizers like you, and make cool and crazy experimental music since thats the music i absolutely love
