thank you so much. this thing has been haunting me on and off since 1986. Now I have to listen to the whole thing to find the 2 bars that are stuck in my head. Was the idea to do the same song 8 times with different producers?
13:33 Wow, I found it. Just put this down for my reference. This version shares something with Colourbox and maybe even Scritti. :) It was the only version I heard Peel play.
@@pigknickers I managed to record a version on the Peel show and got 2 singles, 12" and the magnificent yellow box edition. Most underrated band of the 80s!
This is all great but, in all honesty, Sudden Sway were so up their own arses with all the 'feel, font and fabric' stuff that they forgot that they actually sounded like a Stephen TinTin Duffy offcut
Musical pioneers - still listen to these guys - years ahead!
One of the most original music promotion ideas , so dada ,,,
This is a MUST....
And I thought I heard every mix Adrian Sherwood did in the 80's until I found this hidden gem. I had the 12" but of course that wasn't him
Thx!!
Fab.
i bought all 8 at the same time just after release
Sheer brillsomeness at its very bestidious.
So can I stop trying to collect all the versions of this?
+Robert Tolhurst Yes, it's all here :-)
