As a newbie my only rc vehicle is the big rock 6s so this video is absolutely perfect for me. Now I feel confident I can change diff fluids if and when necessary. Looking forward to more maintenance videos like this. Thanks
Amazing how far rcs have evolved… who would have thought decades ago that it’ll be possible… I actually enjoy tinkering with them lol … and like how you lined up gasket keeps from getting pinched 👍👍👍 get well soon
I've been following your big rock journey just like my own and thank you for showing me how to take out the center diff as I'll be doing the same thanks to you. Keep up the good work man I'm learning that's really the only thing you can give another man is knowledge and I appreciate the knowledge transfer.
Absolutely flawless explanation on the diffs mechanics, thanks for this masterclass, you put it in a way that was really easy to understand. Thank you for always posting helpfull information :D
I’ve never had to work on a diff with those posi-track pads in them before. Maybe one of my arrmas has them and I just haven’t opened it up yet. I have 2 6s outcasts but I have so much fun with the 4s that they just sit in the garage 😄
That’s seriously the easiest center diff I ever seen to work on , makes me want a big rock even more. Hope your feeling better soon Earl I’ve had the BIG C twice in the last 2 yrs luckily the second time wasn’t nearly as bad as the first
Easy. I love my 6s Outcast and Talion. Easy to work on. I think the badest Arrma to work on is Nero/Fazon. But, after you done it few Times, you go bit faster 😅😁🤪. Love your Videos. 👍💪 From Germany
correct, but only the center one has the LSD plates, i received mine a week ago, it came with an extra set to convert one more to LSD, but F/R are open diffs from the factory.

Great vid, i had the wrong idea about what the diffs do. Definitely given me ideas for my TLR typhon if I race it this year.

Thanks for this awesome video one question how do you remember what screw goes back where
As in the video the screws stay with the part removed
There are also diagrams online with an exploded view of the truck and you can see what screw goes where
Nice tutorial 👌👍
Thank you Phil.
😎💯💯💯
Nice Earl, but all diff on big rock 6s is exb version
correct, but only the center one has the LSD plates, i received mine a week ago, it came with an extra set to convert one more to LSD, but F/R are open diffs from the factory.
Good thing it’s so easy to wrench on the arrma diffs as it is the weakest point on the arrma RCs.
Earl that is a exb diff did you mean the metal diff
The ExB diff cup is aluminum
@@earlmoorhead5555 well I guess there both exb diffs but there is a metal and the standard that comes on the older exb
