Matt was one of the best characters on the show. As well as being a kind and reasonable teacher, he used his music skills to set up the choir, the orchestra and the musical; and his acting skills to show the boys what prison is really like. Talented guy!

Everyone do Waterloo road a favour and read all the other thousands of comments asking when it's gonna be released as they have answer as it every time. Open your eyes before asking. I was gonna ask but when I read the comments first thats when I saw the replies. They have explained it very slightly delayed due to copyright issues. Once sorted it will be uploaded. I don't what to see this channel get banned cause u guys can't wait for them to sort it. Either do I think u guys want it banned so please just read comments before asking.

It's amazing how quickly attitudes towards the LGBT have changed in the past few years. I'd say the reactions to Josh being gay were very typical of the time, but now there's a much lower chance of people caring.
Depends on the place unfortunately. I have a friend who was severely bullied for coming out as lesbian and then eventually trans. It was awful. That was only last year.
Bella Lanning leavening is one but trans is on a another scale I don’t agree with it my opinion she/he can do what ever
I remember on Twitter after Finn punched him for it everyone was saying "Josh deserved it, he had it coming", and the actor (for Josh) tweeted about being harassed in public for it. I hope that wouldn't happen now

The first scene represents reality amazingly well, even if there’s something about you at school that would normally result in you being bullied severely, if your good at football you usually get away with it

Thomas Productions If I recall correctly, they covered the gender dysphoria side to Kasey/Robbie, but they then left the storyline after that incident that happened by the bike shed where Barry Barry just watched on has his friend assault his younger sibling, so Robbie went back to identifying as Kasey and using female pronouns (most likely for safety though after what happened), but never addressed the gender identity issues further.
I would of liked to of seen the progression of the storyline after Barry was out of the picture because I think the rest of Barry's would of been okay with Kasey/Robbie after a while & supported their choice, whatever they felt was their gender identity. Dynasty was supportive anyway. It was Barry who was the issue, trying to stop his sibling try and work out who they were, and tried to force his younger sibling to be his 'sister' and struggled to see things from Kasey's/Robbie's point of view.
Plus, I guess it also was a missed opportunity to explore the possibility that Kasey/Robbie could of even been genderfluid on the trans spectrum. That would of been good for helping people understand the wider transgender spectrum by having that character representation.
Deano Winchester Kasey’s storyline actually scared me out of coming out. I’ve spoken to other trans people who said the exact same. Waterloo Road was how I realised I was trans. But for years after I was still too terrified to come out because of the way they handled the storyline. There were so many better angles they could have done it from

I know this show was sort of before the uptick in media tackling shootings, but given it's a subject tacked in previous seasons, even in context, martin's "nobody knows what I'm capable of" scared the crap out of me, like, set off all of the alarm bells.
