I had no idea that Rhino was selling Monkees stuff again. I haven't seen them sell Monkees stuff since the 90s on Rhinos site. I didn't realize Rhino moved it all to an official Monkees site now. Please make more of this boxed set! I'd love to have one for the HD episodes and all the extras, but I really can't pay $2,000 on eBay for it.

Why can't they re-release this set in a standard, affordable Blu-ray set? It's nearly impossible to obtain this now, and I think it's bullshit that those beautiful restored episodes aren't available anywhere else! They're not streaming or purchasable, hell, I can't even find a Blu-ray rip anywhere! So, if you're a fan of The Monkees' music and maybe you've also seen and loved Head and you wanna watch the original show, just spend around $1,000 for a used copy of a long out-of-print set that made headlines for arriving damaged and had missing discs in the first place! Good luck!!

I am very confused.

Everyone keeps saying that it's worth every penny and I'm sure that it is but my goodness that's a whole lot of pennies! Last time I checked it's in the neighborhood of $300. Used copies on eBay are not much better and sometimes even more! Not all of us can afford such a hefty price tag. If theg they would just sell the individual seasons like they did with the DVDs and keep the price down to something reasonable then they would sell a lot more

The DVD's have been around for a long time, but only by individual season and they are not the remastered versions. That said you should really get a Blu Ray player if you can. You can get them pretty cheap now

Quality of discs are superb. Colors and sound spectacular. Boxing? Mediocre at best.
