    Hi Danny, Thank you for inviting PePe to your show. I am an Iranian citizen of the United States. I have a few university degrees, including a Ph.D. in Political Psychology. Having taught courses in that field on topics such as the psychological bases of political decision-making and the history of conflict in the Middle East since the creation of Israel on the Palestinian land, I am fairly knowledgeable on these subjects. However, Pepe is head and shoulders above me. He belongs to the prestigious club of elite geopolitical analysts whose vast knowledge of the world's geopolitical landscape is so comprehensive and all-encompassing at a level to be considered as one of the greatest educators and storytellers. His ability to break down the complexities of the web of hidden labyrinthian typography of geopolitics is bar none. I never tire of listening to and learning from him. I am lucky to have such an educator as my teacher. He deserves to be acknowledged and revered. He is a gem of a man.

      Their downfall tracks directly with their attacks on bluecollar workers wages from the 80's onwards. They destroyed their consumers spending ability. That birthed Bigbox import distributors such as Wallmart etc.. which bridged the gap between consumers and their declining earnings. This had the secondary effect of killing local manufacturing.. which further reduced consumer spending ability. Throw in credit to artificially kick the consumer spending can down the road and eventually you will arrive at a series of credit crunches.. the dominant player in the US economy now is the military industrial complex..they need war and plunder of other countries' assets to exist.

    • @TPath3
      @TPath3 10 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      No, actually most likely they will finish Syria - or more precise strategically threaten this to happen, and have soemething to barter with Russia "You don't want that everything you built in the middle Est to crumble ? Well, maybe we can help you there, if you help us in Ukraine" which results in a strategic defeat of Russia - because of course the US will do whatever it can to really reform the middle East in their will (always israel included of course).
      I always had an extremly bad feeling when they let Idlib off the hook. That no one can trust Erdogan was also very clear from the start - thus entering into a deal with them without a hefty portion of contingency was a gamble - and they lost. Very, very bad situation if it cannot be reversed and as Pepe describes, very unlikely in the needed timeframe. The BRICS are frozen stiff in their tracks - only hope could be a hefty commitment on the part of Iran. If Syria falls the soft russian under belly lays bare and fires will start all over ! Very, very dark !

      Iran sees Syria as a potential trading partner. Moreover if there are no US military bases in Syria then the potential for a war against Iran are greatly diminished.

      Dirty videos of Erdo women (Israeli undercover women)

    • @LuisAldamiz
      @LuisAldamiz 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Turkey has been fully in the NATO fold for some time: they have formally aligned with Ukraine, they sold them drones, they betrayed their word about the Azov nazis, they have also been (barely undercover) supplying Iraqi oil to Israel for more than a decade already, etc. But it became much more clear (at least since the US-Turkey crisis of 2016, that led to the anti-ISIS coalition and the US-Kurdish unstable alliance) when they were given a (much needed) massive loan in 2023 by the IMF (read: the USA) and they then stopped blocking the accession of Sweden to NATO. Next thing we know is that they and their satellite Azerbaijan moved, together with Israel, to end Artsakh (Upper Karabakh) self-rule of decades, while Russia did absolutely nothing (Iran at least has been making gestures of support but Russia has totally abandoned Armenia).
      Erdogan is not a bit more trustworthy than Angela Merkel; at least she admitted to be a total liar after the fact, Erdogan will just kick the can and pretend there's room for negotiation and duplicity, when he's now a total servant of the US Empire, which has of course carefully given him some bones but also some stick (Russia doesn't wield any stick against Turkey at all).

    Thank you Danny and Pepe, what I understand BRICS partner status doesn't have decision making or voting power, it only participates in trade agreements and BRICS can maintain Turkey in that status for very long time, for the same reason Turkey was waiting long time to enter into the EU, now being a BRICS partner Erdogan cannot comeback and tell the EU "I decided that the EU is best for me" because now would be more difficult to be accepted.
    After the US put tariffs on Chinese products suddenly out of nothing Mexico became a top producer of all kind of things to sell them to the US and replaced China as its main trade partner, now Trump is threatening Mexico with tariffs, what is going to happen is that the US is going to isolate itself commercially from the rest of the world.

    It seems to me that Russia and the "Global South" are always playing on the defence and hoping for the best and, as a result, fail to see vulnerabilities. The USA and NATO. by default always exercise the unforseen-the impossible-and are always on offense. If Russia and Iran, collectively, allegedly the best chess players in the world, want to be victorious (i.e. survive the inimitable arrogance of the West) then they need to play pressure offense. Being "asleep' is unforgivable.

    Escobar always makes sense. But he is making a mistake when talking about the loss of territory. It seems to me that Syria, with Rusisa. are following he Russian tactic of ceding terriroty to draw the enemy in and then to wipe it out, which is what is slowly happening and effectively.

    • @LuisAldamiz
      @LuisAldamiz 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Not a great tactic and it's not something that Russia actually did at all: each concesion they made, had to be regained (if at all) very painfully. Remember how in February 2022 they were in the outskirts of Kiev and controlled much of NE Ukraine? They gave away all that as "good will" and, as soon as they did, Zelensky abandoned all the negotiations, and Russia will have to regain all that (and even more) if they want to regime-change Ukraine.
      Worse: they (as USSR) gave East Germany and the enemy took everything all the way to the outskirts of St. Petersburg and just a few hundred km to Moscow. When have they regained even a tiny bit of all that?

      @@fuzzybear6191 - No, it's not "well established". I've been following the conflict since 2014 and I know that Russia (or Donbass previously) never attack civilians, they are exquisite in respecting the law of war. On the other side, the Ukro-nazis (or NATOplus in general) couldn't care less: they'll kill, extract organs from children, torture as cruelly as possible, bomb civilian areas, etc. all the time.

      Russia has been comitting many geostrategic evaluation errors, not just now but also in 2015, when they signed the Minsk Accords just when Donbass was clearly winning the war. You should never sign a truce, especially not a lenghty one, when you're winning: it will always be only to the advantage of your enemy.
