My sweetie and I have been on three Uncruise trips. Sea of Cortes at this point was my favorite, although I certainly wouldn't complain about the others. As we boarded that evening a few years back, I looked at the shoes of my fellow passengers, "Aha! We have some hikers." I and others campaigned for a serious hike and we were accommodated. Hiking early morning on an island, the golden hour of light making barrel cactus absolutely glow, at high point we saw water all around. Up front these cruises look pricey, but being very inclusive, not nearly what you may think. At happy hour I have NEVER heard anyone say, "I'll stick with big ships." Quite the opposite.
