I can never make up my mind about who is the very best trombonist in the world. Is it Ian Bousfield, Christian Lindberg, or Joseph Alessi? All of them are phenomenal players -- being an American I am probably prejudiced in favor of Alessi. :). Fine fine recording, thanks for sharing!
Notes indicate he played a Yamaha YFL681B. He switched between an un-triggered and triggered set-up throughout the recording session and the band ain't bad either.
The best example of fun needless difficulty in Mvt. 3. Performing this is on my bucket list.

We world premiered this concerto with Lindberg. My preference is Christian having accompanied both in band. Both are exceptional.
