I just bought this phone for my 8 year old daughter. she is going to love it. Came here for a review and you did not disappoint. I cannot wait for it to come now.
This phone works with 2g or 3g and you can only work it with T-Mobile 3g Sim card or AT&T. But alot of cellphone towers do not work in 2g or 3g Because we use 4g/5g now. I had this phone back in 2012 but getting it NOW i wouldnt know if it can work in 4g let alone 5g :/
i have this phone today and only found 1 sim that works, its 5g from mintmobile. i only get service at my parents house though and not at my main house 😿 but it works!! i call and text

@Rose Ann Darcy Aww you are the absolute BEST!!! Thanks so much for replying to me. I was able to insert a TMobile nano size sim card in slot #2. It shows on the main screen so I know I put it in right! Yet- NOTHING. I can use the phone on the Blue Tooth option but not as a real phone. The sound quality is awful and you can't go too far away from your main phone as it will not pick up the blue tooth option! Argh.. someone said it's because I am in America. We no longe have 2G or 3G- we have 5G cell phone towers. We have very few 4G even left. I could just CRY... so annoying!!! Thanks for your help though
Hi Anna, the SIM card i ordered is called ‘VODAFONE 21GB Pay As You Go SIM Card’ doesn’t say anything about 4g on it and it’s been working perfect from the moment I topped it up :)
I think just any simple SIM card would work maybe? I have no clue! I just got a pay as you go SIM card, no idea if you have the same sort of ones over there xx

The number should be on the back of the packaging that the SIM card came in I think. And I’d expect there’s a t mobile app where you can top up or you can probably top up on the t mobile website? :)

You have to pull back the metal flaps. At first I tried sliding the SIM card in which was impossible but then saw it opened like a latch :)
