Brother Chuck exemplifies the difference between knowledge and the ability to communicate. I found this snippet very enlightening and I am proud that he has grown into the man he is.

Brother from Canada giving a shoutout to our diaspora in Australia, parts of Europe, South and Central America. We have folk in Mexico and Alaska, India and China. Brazil folk are a huge diaspora, which we need to connect with.

Yo Karen, This period in time is so Dope to hear the guys I grew up listening to their music now talking power politics. Mr Chuck D and Ice Cube are taking real steps as theyve always done and I'm glad I discovered your show and you're giving these guys time on your platform to reach more people.
What did Michael Jackson sing? We Are The World!
Ain't that the truth so don't let THEM box YOU in.
    As always, peace & love,
    I'm out!

@@tanyaparker-callsign.kk7ic238 Really good advice, IMO. But they didn't mention learning the local languages. I think that's important cuz 1) it opens doors you couldn't even imagine, and 2) Think about how naive that is to think you can live your best life in a place where you don't know the language of the people around you.
They probably think they're too old to learn a language (not true), but for younger people, that would be one of my first recommendations.

Leadership is a journey and a process. I am not convinced it has a specific age range, maybe a general median, but anyone can be used, groomed, taught and inspired.

i am with chuck d. afrika should be seen as a fount of spiritual strength and well being. that is not to say there are no problems there but psychologically peoples who have had a place to call a spiritual home have been stronger because they have had some kind of grounding.

The AU recently made Swahili an official language. It‘s also been suggested as a ¨language of integration¨ for commerce and trade, and taught in shools as well.
Maybe we in the Diaspora should follow that lead and start teaching ourselves Swahili(and Python, too, by the way).
Learning a language really ain‘t that hard. It may take a generation or two to finish the task, but it can be done.
Imagine having our own language again.

Language is not the issue, we do need different languages, customs, faiths, origins so that we can grow to learn and respect each other’s differences but it’s man that needs to get his damn act together but I do believe that the UN should have a solid army just as big as or even bigger then the U.S.’s Army so that the U.N. could really hold war criminals and Dictators such as Trump accountable instead of just being useless drug pushers.

Any absolute solution is in itself problematic because its narrowness can't fulfil the objective. From a biological point of view all humans produce the same range of sounds, out of which environmental preferences narrow to parameters referred to as e-languages (Amharic, etc..). So biologically, we already produce the same language. Our social algorithms give them political names and economic value. Plus, arguments usually happen with groups of the same tongue---vying for political power.
