To be honest this was one of the best movie recaps I’ve ever seen. Full of ups and downs and some twists and turns this movie recap turned out to be very good.
Speckles was the Most emotional Dinosaur movie that i've ever watched it's really sad that He lost everyone expect His son, Speckles Junior.
It doesn't upset me but the designs of the dinosaurs looking as detailed as they are while also having those eyes just confuses me.

Wait. Since when Blue eyes die in the sea?? Blue eyes was nearly killed half way there inside the cave while escape to safety with speckles and the three young hatchling during the volcano eruption. I think one of Jr's siblings was crash and killed in the cave and only leave two to survive. At the end Blue was badly Injured and couldn't move forward on the journey. So Speckles fend for himself and the sake of his two only children still alive leaving her behind after Blue Eyes told him to move on and take the hatchling to a better place with him. So he did.
Then Jr lost his brother from being knocked off by One Eyes

The guy narrating got confused because the two flashbacks were one after each other. It showed Junior in the sea after being into it, which was traumatic, then it switched when Blue Eyes was dying in the desert.

and this is about blue eyes When he first saw her, he didn't really cared about her and he waited till he can drive One-Eye away but when they meet again, Speckles feels bad for her and let's her eat, after that they will depend on each other throughout their lives and even from One-Eye. Thought their lives, they will be very loyal to each other as they also trust each other to do other performances such as hunting and planning.
As they grow, they eventually fall in love with each other and Speckles will protect her from anything in order for their hatchlings to be born, once they were born they will be happy to be together to be parents and as a family of three. But their family won't last long as they will lose most of their hatchlings during the volcano eruption and Blue-Eyes will be a victim to this event. Speckles refused to accept that she was going to die but she'll beg for him to take their hatchlings in order to survive on her last moment. Speckles will be dishearten that his mate passed away and afterwards he'll struggle to live his life without her.
After a year, Speckles struggles to raise his only hatchling without her and will continue to miss his mate to the point that he'll mistake his own reflection to her or even mistake her for another female Tarbosaurus.

I saw the first 'Speckles ' film, piece by piece, some time ago, and found it fairly entertaining. Though, if my memory serves me correctly, Junior's mother was killed by a T Rex rather than by drowning. Whatever: I was completely unaware that a sequel had been made. This one seems to be somewhat more anthropomorphic, though, and there are some very strong hints that the makers are big fans of Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal...
The mother didnt get killed, she died from her injuries after a volcano eruption and later on died in the desert and was eaten by a huge pack of raptors. So no, she didnt get killed by the t.rex.

They changed the lore. In the first movie the mother died of an injury (cant remember it was so long ago) Junior was only out in the ocean cause of a tyranosaur whose name I forget knocked them all into the water. She was dead at that point, her body was left behind to be eaten by raptors as Speckles escaped with the last two surviving hatchlings.
Nice review most people here don't know that speckles has his own movie where he faces a greater foe known as One eye who killed his entire family also you got it wrong about the mother's death after a fatal injury from a rock that fell on her leg she died from exhaustion in a desert while speckles was protecting her and the children ahainst a large horde of raptors
One thing I don't get is why the raptors went after Blue eyes after taking down a massive sauropod and even afterwards still chased Speckles, Jr and the other sibling when they could alredy be overfed

This one is like a bad fanfiction based off of the original, complete with Mary Sue/Gary Stu's and magical handwaving away of any notion of emotional damages.

The reason speckles is hard on junior is because he want him to be able to fight against any enemy
Speckles literally lost his mom, brother, sisters to the T. rex called one eye, and was left alone until he found blue eyes, his partner, and has 3 children, until after a boulder hits his partner and kills one of their babys. He then loses his wife due to her injuries and must be left to be eaten to the raptors, and loses another one of his children due to one eye, and almost loses his remaining child.

Best dinosaur movie ever except for Jurassic World
that just shows you should never call someone a coward when you don't know what they are going through and how they feel and that goes for everyone even the victim no ones perfect and they need to learned that in order to accept who they are and live peacefully
Seeing this recap I had to hunt down this movie and watch it. it was actually pretty good. A good old adventure story with dinosaurs, reminded me a bit of land before time.

I would love to find this movie streaming online! I just watched the original “Dino King: An Amazing Adventure” for the first time and it’s now my second favorite dinosaur movie (aside from Jurassic Park of course!) It was perfect and had so much emotion and also a great soundtrack! I even listened through the credits! 🦖❤️

Junior's mom died much earlier in the movie during a volcanic eruption. Secondly it was a tyrannosaurus called One Eye who knocked Junior into the water at the end of the movie during a fight with Speckles.

1:17 actually thats not it, the first flashback is when speckles fights one eye the tyrannosaurus in the first movie, junior gets knocked into the ocean and his 2 brothers (or sisters i forgot) died to one eye, the second one was while they were in the migrating or mating season i also forgot that, blue eyes (speckles mate and juniors mom) passes out in the middle and died, and some velociraptors probably ate her, the last movie was just survival of the fittest, less cartoony, and only speckles talks, now in this movie, everyone talks and its more cartoony sorry if this was a waste of your time (also its still speckles that fends off the goofy ahh wyvern dragon lookin creature)
