      Hi! Awesome video and really nice build. The link is for SE9 model. Did you buy this one or SE7? Or are there some options to choose frome? How much was the item and how much shipping?
      Thanks and best regards

      @@MiniMachines1 great, thanks. Did you ever manage to get oil for grab/quick hitch through the rotator? Like engcon has it. Or do you just have to be careful, not to rotate too much, to tear the hoses?

    Do a search on brake cleaner and welding. Certain types of brake cleaner when ignited give off some bad shit. You’re definitely a skilled guy, I have a Steelwrist and have seen their factory, and if you can make a functional tilty in your garage that’s awesome! 👍🏻

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok I will check into that, thanks for the tip. I got a price on an steelwrist for my Terex but it was to expensive for my small hobby business so that's why I found out I could make my own.The rotor part is working great now, so it's just to place the tilt left on top, so during the winter that should be done.

    It would be handy to make a vise like a machinist's two part table vise for your welding table. A fence to push against that just drops in and a clamping end which also drops in. Easy to remove handy to have.

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I always miss a vise on it, so I need to figure something out for it.

      @@MiniMachines1 a chunk of 4x6 thick wall tubing for the one jaw with a base welded on that slips between your table slats. That does the rough adjusting then the head can be made the same with a couple of big bolts having their nuts welded to the square tube or adapt a deep jaw pipe vise. Removeable and useful.

      Thx will be fun geting the tilt part on also and see if I can make it work. No problem making one for your Bobcat, I ordered it true Alibaba and it's safe pay system, then they dont get your money before you get the gear.

    This is amazing. So, did you look at what a name brand tiltrotator uses for components and just copy that? It would be nice to at least match the proper hydraulic motor power with what a store bough unit uses. You are doing some groundbreaking work on your channel. No one can afford the name brand tiltrotators! I want to make one for a cat 305 excavator, a 320c excavator, and an old John Deere 310c backhoe.

      I started work the gear that I bought from China, I chose this size since it will hold my Terex hanging off it. Than I bought an hydraulic engine for it that was just under what the gear could handle according to the manufacturer, abs it works great now the engine stops with to much resistance and nothing breaks. Yes the one you buy complete is way too expensive, I will probably be able to build this for 1/10 of the price of a new one or cheaper. And only the rotor is a great feature to have so can't wait for the tilt also 😁

    So you now have to grind off the whole quick coupler to get to the bolts ?

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes if I need to get to the bolts that is the down side, but plan is that I never will need to change them out. The 4 in center I can reach true the bottom of the quick coupler.
