Seoul Blasts K-Pop On Loudspeakers In "Unbearable" Campaign Against North Korea's Trash Balloons

- As tension heightens on the Korean peninsula, Seoul is set to return to a strange way of retaliation against the North’s trash-carrying balloons. South Korea has said it would resume loudspeaker broadcasts at the border directed at North Korea for the first time in six years. Seoul said its move will be "unbearable" for the Kim Jong Un regime after North Korea resumed sending balloons carrying trash across the border. South Korea's military said the North launched about 330 balloons with trash on June 8 and about 80 of them dropped in South Korea. Some experts fear "there is a high possibility the resuming of speakers could lead to an armed conflict” on the Korean Peninsula.

They had been playing K-pops and other radio programs at the border since 1953. And it only stopped for the last five years.
Even ten years ago you were extremely late on that joke. They have been blast music and audio off and on over the DMZ for like six decades. This isn't anything new, hell the clips they used @1:57 in this video are from 2005. At least now North Korean's can send in their song requests via garbage balloon.
K-Pop started about 30 years ago, but didn't become huge until 12 years ago with Gangnam Style.
From that point, the concept of blasting Nth Korea with K-Pop became truly hilarious.
