I (ENTP) was convincing my older sis (ISFP) that arguing with a 15yo is fine as an adult cause they’ve done something wrong. Now she’s struggling with my younger brother (ISTP) and she’s on my side.. anyway I’m not anymore, my argue is that he’s a cute kid and he’ll get better if you know exactly how to teach him.

I'm pretty sure I was studying with an ENTP at some point (I'm INTP) and we had debates every lesson, while the others including our teacher were just silently watching. Eventually, though I disagreed with many of ENTP's views, I got tired of it and stopped vocalizing my disagreements and he soon became bored, because nobody would argue with him lmao I always thought I was the one who liked to play devils' advocate, but damn this one was on another level lol
A few days ago, I was debating against 3 of my friends, and they were all sucking. they were making awful points and their argument only started to gain stability after ANOTHER ENTP joined their side.
Plot twist: They actually supported ur point but played devil’s advocate.

dude, entps will argue on anything and with anyone, this one day I was having a conversation with an ENTP and it soon turned into an argument, where I was supporting his point and he was supporting my point... We had the same point but that ENTP guy kept arguing. Entps are pretty funny though

Actually no. They mean a lot.
My best friend is also an ENTP. Even before we met, we had the same interests. We have virtually identical senses of humor, and we often come up with the same thing at the exact same time. Everyone’s brain is structured differently, but there are certain patterns that make people think in one way more than another, and that’s what personality is. For instance, you probably have a personality type that causes you to think like a cranky cynical old hermit.
Edit: Oh and because it’s 2021 and you can offend someone by sneezing into wrong brand of fucking tissue paper, I want to clarify that the last sentence above this edit is a joke that is not meant to be taken seriously. 👍

My point wasn't that there arent different patters of thinking, rather that the tests do a bad job of determining that pattern of thinking. They rely too heavily on the self awareness and blunt honesty that people are lacking, have vague questions which can be interpreted many ways, and are set up to have "right" answers that are socially acceptable or desired.

Oh yeah, the self-awareness thing is probably very valid. I tried to respond as honestly as I could, and I think I got an accurate result because of it, but I can see how people want to believe they are, say, more socially confident and extroverted than they really are. That’s always confused me. I don’t get why people are afraid to be introverts!

How do I know? Because I'm an ENTP who recently started dating an INFJ, and she just makes me feel so calm and validated. And she feels like she could listen to my ideas, facts, stories and jokes for hours (and literally does) while I just try to figure out what mystery she is. And she's so kind to me that all I want to do is to protect her. And we are both just fascinated by each others minds.
And that's the typical dynamic between those two. Because the ENTP really just wants to feel validated, and the INTP does that in a very kind and calming way, and get an interesting human specimen to study at the same time.
being an ENTP is being so focused looking at memes that you don’t notice that the fridge door is open until your brother tells you that its opened so you go to close it and don’t even notice that you have to force it to close but then you open the fridge and realize the reason you had to force it to close is that there was a soda can on the edge area where the door closes on the inside and the door punctured a hole in the can and now the can has exploded on the corner of the fridge so you take the leaky can with a hole in its side out and put it in sink and proceed to wipe the fridge very quickly with a weird calmness and once youve wiped the red soda off the corner of the fridge it exploded on you go to the sink and hold up the can and turn it on its side to drink from the hole the fridge door punctured in the can because god knows you can’t waste good soda.
oh and being an ENTP also means having a chaotic mind and therefore chaotic comments :)

LOL!! As an ENFJ with a dragon spirit (people think I am for sure a Scorpio) I have brought two ENTP men to their knees. Not romantically involved whatsoever 😂 I can’t stop laughing at these memes because I can see right through them and call them out and reverse their game on them until they get flustered. One even turned red and told me if I said my political beliefs one more time he was going to punch me in the face. He was not expecting me to know as much as I did. I go to the legislator to fight for policies to be passed, he works on websites and though he knew more than me. What a mistake young grasshopper. My friend told him he looked unhinged and that’s was GOLDEN. His wife told him to calm down and her told her to shut the F up. He has made women cry behind “devils advocate” I let him hang himsejf as he went even harder. I started to have quick comebacks ready and I would f*** with him and ask where his confederate flag was lol all kinds of things. After a year of letting him get angry now people joke back and call him a nazi when he wants to start to debate. It’s hilarious and feels like such a victory for me.
Another one bossed me around a couple times and I let it go at first but I started pushing back by being my usual charismatic self and charming the ever living pants off of everyone who surrounds him. He got so flustered as he knew he was losing control over his own people (wife, parents, sister in law and two brothers plus nieces and nephews) he’s also a charmer… but nothing on me. I am a master. Soon enough I exposed his narcissism and he went into a narcissistic rage. Most everyone turned on him because I had been carefully planting the seed on their mind about who he really was. Your welcome ENTPs, us strong ENFJ will show you what’s really up.
I know they both HATE me and as a former people pleaser, I relish in it 👑💕💜🥳
