  • Although Crape Myrtles are difficult to bonsai because they are very apically dominant and have very brittle branches, here I am showing the re-potting of two Crape Myrtle trees which I am trying to bonsai. Sort of experimenting. I will be updating this from time to time and will have shared the experiment with you.
Here is a previous video I made about a "crape myrtle" : • A Day in the Life of B... but that is not the same plant.

Do crepe myrtles drop their leaves in the tropics, or do they keep them year round? I spoke with you earlier this year about your success rate for rooting truncheons. I tried it and was successful. I've let the roots escape the pot, and will be able to chop the trunk next spring. I'll be starting with a three and a half inch trunk, saving me several years of ground growing. Thanks for sharing your know how, and enjoy your videos.

aluminum wires specifically use for bonsai. do no use GI wires the one you use for laundry.
