Feeling unwell....but, the show must go on....what a trouper! Thank you so much for the lovely tour of your, as ever, beautiful garden. Wishing you a very speedy recovery.
I hope you feel better soon! These type of videos are my favorite, where we can walk with you and hear your thoughts I love walking in my garden and seeing what’s up lol Fall is my favorite time of the year. Most of my roses are almost done flowering. Deer ate 70% of my roses about a month ago, and hibiscus cuttings when I was away for a week and i got black spot everywhere after that😖. Beautiful garden, you make me want to get some gardenias next year, yours are stunning Japanese maple is beautiful, I know what you mean about the leaves, my peonies turned brown from hot sun. This summer was brutal here in North Carolina
Darrren you where there for me during my cancer journey. When I felt bad I could watch you and dream of a beautiful magical garden that I could build. Though I'm Doing well now When I needed you, You were there. I want to tell you to take care of yourself, take zinc, eat good foods, continue to go outside and try to be happy. I will be here waiting no rush take care
Darren, I am sorry you don’t feel well. I hate to feel poorly when my garden needs attending. I can tell you are the same. I look forward to each day to see if you have posted. Your tree with red berries is lovely. I believe you called it a sorbus tree.
Your garden is so beautiful and inspiring ! I wonder how I can make mine move a bit towards this type of garden, for the moment I have 2 flower/shrubs beds and a big nothing in the center of my garden :D
Looking good! The solar strength now is equal to one week on the long day side of the spring equinox, so, roses are not fading as under intense summer sun, any leaves that can grow increase in size as they attempt to increase their solar gathering area, and fragrance does not evaporate away as during the highest summer temperatures. The "last hurrah" before our winter colors take over, white, brown and gray, with a fewgreen conifers. 7:42 Yes, intoxicating fragrance. When I encounter intense fragrance, I inhale through the nose, exhale out the mouth so as to totally saturate the olefactory with fragrance. Heaven must surely be fragrant. 9:28 My Eustacia Vye is in it's first year in a massive terrcotta pot, she i recovering from summer heat, has made one bloom since hot summer has passed, and the frgrance is rich, old rose with perhaps a bit of menthol or camphor under the rose scent. 10:16 Yes, I bought my Erowan sweet pea seeds from an English seller, the frgrance is strong an sweet, somewhat candy like. The English are not so half hearted about sweet peas as Americans are, the best sweet peas come from England, nglish do not content themselves with mediocrities as Americans do. 11:01 My! When it comes to sweetcorn, you are quite the savage! 😄😄I do the same thing, but it's out in the utilitarian vegetable garden. Also, sore throat usuallly is accompanied by reduced energy/vigor. Once the sore throat ceases, energy will come back on tap. Cheers! until later, wishing you a quick recovery! Ralph in Ohio.
