The project started in November 2023, of course some costs have changed till date but that is what we spent to erect this building from November 2023 to today- February 2024
Was block for building included? or
Cost of materials went astronomical from mid-January. This project isn't a reflection of the current cost of building now. Cement was N5000 in December 2023, and by January , it was 12000. These online builders should be entirely honest before they cause distrust between owners and their engineers.
Please, what do you think of polystyrene parapet? Some are of the opinion that it is cheaper and as good as concrete.
I have heard about it but never used it… I will have to do some study around that before I can recommend or not…

Maybe due to the rise in cost of building materials … for instance, you can attest that the cost of 12mm rods is not same as it was last week. Your labour depends on your bargaining power … I didn’t spend up to that on labour …

Are you sure this is recent? with the high cost of materials? I have in-progress now a 5bedroom budgalow. parabet alone has taken more than 2million plus while the roofing cost above 6million. Am not breathing well with this your analysis because mine has cost more than this already and it s not a duplex but a 5bedroom bungalow. biko reply this comment because I am not breathing fine at this moment. This your cost is way below what I have spent so far.

This project started in November 2023 and we just roofed it ending of January 2024... the cost is realtime ... so sorry about your project sir. I guess something is not right somewhere...

6 million is too much to roof a 4 or 5 bedroom.
Im in tilling stage now ive called my tiller but I will still go to market and bargain price, dont trust ur workers when it come to money they will rip you

Yes sir, how big is your project sir? And where is the location??? These could affect the cost: 28M should have, decked the building and gotten you to roofing stage … even if roofing is not inclusive … unless the project is very big…
In my project, before decking, I have spent almost 21m
How big is the project? Is it a raft foundation ??? Ordinarily, it shouldn’t by any means, get up to that…
