April 2017 Edit: Finally got around to releasing the UST, I'm sorry it took me so long. I had to edit the files so they can be used with any UTAU, from how I editted heavily with Denki/Galvan's version.
First of all, HUGE thank you to Matsu for helping me with amazing character illustrations, and HUGE thank you to Justin/Pkotetsu for helping with this gorgeous video, I wouldn't have been able to get this project done without either of your help and I'm forever grateful to both of you.
Secondly, this is for Denki and Galvan's 3rd Anniversary, my split personality/voiced UTAU. They were first released in May 14, 2013 on illustrated/animated demo reels.
Due to people being busy and events coming up during those times, is why this project was finished late. Better late than never though.
Thirdly, I realize this song is basically considered a Vocaloid classic, and old at this point, but it was an interest to begin with because this is the first UTAU cover I've ever attempted, and I wanted to re-visit it as a comparison based on how much I've improved since then in terms of mixing, UTAU tuning, UTAU voicebank creation and such. I also learned to make .USTs along my journey, so even though several .USTs of this song already exist, I made my own .UST to both challenge myself and also make this cover completely my own.
Fourthly, As for if I'm going to give this .UST out, not sure. I doubt anyone else wants to cover this song at this point of time but yeah.
Lastly, In regards to the voicebanks used, this cover uses Denki Sai PROOF and Galvan Ize THEORY. Denki has 3 pitches right now, and Galvan has 4. I intend to have both banks (hopefully) be 5-6 pitches at their final stages.
As for when they may be released in full, I have no idea because my life is hectic. I'm thinking in the tail-end/late this year though if things go well. I haven't had much time to work on their banks, and they're still far from a releasable state.
Until then, I'm just probably going to see about posting a mixture of smaller projects or things I had been working on, from the backburner, when I have the chance.
