@@CoinPatrol I have had a good look at the coin under my scope and it looks as though it may have been laying very close to welding splatter as there are some other dots around the edge (I may have jumped the gun before really checking) but on a plus side I found both 1957 halfpennies rough and calm seas which I had found in a bag of mixed UK pre-decimal coins, so now a happy chap, thanks for getting back to me and I so look forward to your penny hunts. Merry Christmas to you from sunny Australia.
@@paulroe8178 I found FOUR 1957 Calm Sea Halfpennies in 2022, out of the same tray with hundreds of Pennies and Halfpennies in it - for 10p each! I couldn't believe it!! I also found a really nice VF+ 1915 Penny.
i detect and found a half penny with a 5 figure date on it 19022 any comment,sorry for inturupting,but just had 2 get your view on it ,its not a ship half penny.

I was lucky to get a 1909 dot penny in VF for just £4.64 off e Bay Canada. Seller sold as date only.

The UNC 1909 you show - I have a 1902LT in very very similar condition, could you give me a rough valuation?
Acording to The Londaon Coin auctions, the last 1902 low tide penny in UNC condition they sold fetched £140 (December 2023)
