- Here is the first part of the Icebrood Saga's... saga. :)
It features a song by Eivør which sings in Faroese. I picked this song, because it reminds me about "Boneskinner" by Stan LePard.
This is one of three videos of the Icebrood Saga - it is mostly about the Norn and Jormag as well as the storyline of: Bound by Blood, Whisper in the Dark and Shadow in the Ice. The next video will feature the remaining episodes' story.

Man, the icebrood saga was awsome. People forget about the amazing maps and stories that we've gotten. I really like the conclusion apart from the rushed Primordus death. Icebrood saga is a tragic story of loss, power, war and hope. Rytlock killing his son with the very blade he sought instead of his family but gaining the son he never had in braham, Ryland seeking to prove himself and eventually seeking purpose in jormag's power, only to lose everything in the end beacuse he was consumed by his desires and rage, contrasted with braham, who lost his mother, his bow, his guildmates, his honor, but still willing to sacrifice everything to save his friends, and being rewarded with life and a legend worthy of being sung for centuries. Ironic that Jormag manipulated each and every single one of us, like putting all the pawns in place, only for him to be a puppet of the prophecy. Icebrood saga definetly has its flaws, but i think the good parts are some of the best story content we got for gw2.

For a reason I created 3 music videos just for the Saga - I found the whole thing a great piece of entertainment, and it made me tear up many times, also there are many music tracks that I love from the Saga to this day, like Champion of Primordus or Eagle Flight, Boneskinner's theme and more. :)
indeed I love ibs! yes the ending was rushed but it really didn't detract from how amazing of an experience it was. it really had amazing story telling and super atmospheric maps. and the music! I mean I wouldve used more of it, but its probably one of my favorite arcs of the decade long story even with all its flaws.
Have to say this was an experience, Ice Brood saga started so dark and unknown, so this Done in Faroese imbue it with Nordic ancient mystic...
omg once again im a year late but THIS IS SO GOOD TOO the music choice plus the voice overlays are just so perfectly done! ibs is prob my favorite lw, second only to eod when it comes to all releases, even with all its flaws!
edit: also seriously - jormag n peitha are like the asmr gods of tyria. i just keep shivering every time i hear either of them talk 😂
I wish that ISB kept the horror atmosphere that it had at the beginning of the story. Had it kept with it I think it could have easily been one of my favorite expansions in Guild Wars 2. I am so sad how ISB devolved due to Covid and EoD's production.
I think out of all your AMV this might be my fav, I catch myself constantly going back to it at random times :D

Oh I love this song! Really like the idea of an icebrood themed amv too, makes me nostalgic of when IBS was mostly horror.
