Yeah I try to do what I can of importantance and interests with the figures and reviews but edit as much as possible and stay to the point as well as important thoughts and opinions on my mind at the time. I want the videos to be fun, Useful and keep them as short as I can but trying to show all the features and combinations for interests and customizing options! Thanks again 👍
You can add Mekanek / Rattlor neck pieces or other extension pieces to the tentacle pod and combine with Hasbro Classified/Lightning/ML heads etc for more crazy combos - the possibilities are endless!

What a fantastic figure! Slush Head has always been one of my favourite New Adventures characters, this is probably the best figure of him to date! Really pumped to get this figure soon. Another great review!👍

Thanks for checking the review out! Yeah, artila and Sagitar would be really cool to see in the Masterverse series. The Classics had plans for both of those figures, but the line unfortunately ended before they got around to those figures.
This is one of the really few Masterverse figure better than the Classics, imo. They really went all the way out with this C-list character! Quite impressive. The display and play options alone is numerous. 😮
Totally digging that NA Skeletor cape. Looks 1000X better than the cape he came with. The added skull brooch is a definite plus. 😊
Oh yeah! I also have the Classics Slush head in card still. But I really like the new and design of this Masterverse Slush head over the Classics one from what I have watched from reviews on the Classics figure. The Classics is also cool of coarse.
I didn't like that Cape the NA Masterverse Skeletor came with. I think they just reused the She-Ra cape. I bought that Custom, dyed it and added that skull piece now. Much better! Glad you like that as well! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts as always 👍

I think the vintage might of had that too. I don't blame you! I wouldn't want to exspose my figures to water too much! It will cause problems at some point.
@@Themanchlid yeah, the vintage one has water in it, or what seems to be water. Mine still has it after all these years. The figure parts seems more brittle now, specially the tentacles, but water seems fine. 😁
Been obsessed over fallout mutants and thier design. Got one of these and rendered the blue a rusty color. Looking forward to finding folding pieces to make it similar to a fallout super mutant

I never played that game, but I am familiar with some of the game play I watched in the past and some of the mutants. It's always fun to use other figures from certain lines like this Masterverse Slush head or Mcfarlane 40,000 k figures to customize as warriors or mutants from other games or franchises that don't have figures out!

I never watched or even knew about the New Adventures show either. I was introduced to the characters when collecting the Classics line. I watched a couple of NA episodes on TH-cam recently. I didn't like them. But I do like seeing the characters in figure forms added to the classics and now Masterverse line. This Slush head came out really cool! Hopefully, you see one in the wild soon. My copy had the exact same problem with the goldfish bowl, plus 2 of the tentacles were broken right out of the box. Hopefully, they still have one at my local Target so I can swap them off.
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review, and I'm sorry to hear about your issues with this figure. As far as the helmet goes. I'm starting to think the factory or Mattel just decided to glue them on now because of the risk of these dome falling off in the box with shipping, and you can still change heads out by just removing the armor. The original promotional images show that clear helmet being able to come off and use on the backpack with a head like I also showed once I removed mine. But I think they are all glued on from the comments I got from other who picked this figure up. I removed mine, but that's very risky, and you can break it. The tentacles broken are another story. Definitely try to return it because of that. But that figure will also probably have the helmet glued on, too.
Strongly dislike the whole "New Adventures of He Man" setting.
But am happy to see how nice they make the Masterverse figures.

Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! Yeah the New Adventures figures aren't for everyone. I didn't like that cartoon or the vintage figures. I thought it was silly looking. But once I collected the Classics new Adventures figures I became more interested in the Mutants and He-man plus Skeletor variants to mix in the line. I'm glad to see the Masterverse is also trying to reimagine those certain figures in this line. I think Slush head came out really cool looking with all the accessories. Yeah that helmet was supposed to be removable from the original concept images to put on that Android backpack like I showed in the review. So either it was a mistake in the factory to glue it or Mattel changed the idea to just leave on now. You can still change the heads with that dome on by taking the armor off as I also showed. But I wanted mine removable to use on that backpack with a head. I think it looks creepy for some reason with that dome on

Yeah the you totally remove the remove the armor to change the heads easy like I also showed in the review. But the dome helmet by design is meant to come off and be used on the other Android back pack set up like the promotional images show. Once I removed mine from the glue, it works perfect and was definitely intended to do that! Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
That's what I was thinking as well, except all the promo pictures show the large and small domes as swappable. There was definitely a change between prototype and production.

Another amazing review as always. I was looking forward to watching this review because you always go through every possible question collectors may have about these action figures. As for the QC issue on the plastic dome, I would take a guess that there was some miscommunication between the designers and the factory about gluing it or not. On the one hand, it would be much easier to just remove the dome to switch the heads, but on the other hand, removing the entire chest piece is also another way to do it. I have a feeling that they decided to go for the latter to avoid having the dome fall off during shipping and handling. Either way, I think it works even with the glued dome, because you can always remove the chest piece with the dome attached if you want to swap the heads. I really like this figure, and I think that at this rate, Masterverse will continue to make amazing figures that can finally compete with MOTU Classics.
Thanks for stopping by already to check out this review! Yeah it's common to see wierd QC issues with early figures found on the Market like this one. Yes you can just remove the armor with the dome on to change heads like I also showed. But the whole point is to be able to pop that dome piece off in order to use it on the other back pack or Android with a head on as I also showed or to just leave Slush head with the head exsposed and no helmet if you wanted too. Plus it's advertised to do so with this figure and other set ups! But I can see how it was probley miscommunication at the factory and a way to keep the piece from falling off in transit as you mentioned! Aside from that, it's an incredible figures and fun to mess around with!👍

Cool figure. I’m not familiar with NA MOTU at all. Had never heard of it until a few years ago. We never got it back in Portugal.
Yeah the New Adventures cartoon was on in the late 80s and early 90s I think. I never even knew it was around then. I watched a couple episodes on TH-cam. I didn't like it. But I did like the different figures added to the Classics and Masterverse line. This Slush head came out awesome! Thanks for stopping by bro👍
It was one of the figures of the new line my mother purchased me when I was a child.

Thanks for checking out the review! Yeah, I'm starting to think they just decided to glue the domes on, so they gall off in the boxes in shipping. You can still change the heads out by removing the armor of coarse. But the dome can't be used on the Android backpack set up, which looks cool. It would be interesting to hear the response from Mattel!
My dome was even harder to get off I had to cut it. It wasn't just glued, the plastic of the armor was literally melted around the dome. Mine was almost unusable after I cut it away. I'm pretty sure the purple part with the dome was originally supposed to have cuts with pegs that would line up in the armor making it sit lower. At some point they just abandoned this feature and never told us
Thanks for stopping in and sharing your comments! Yeah, I think they changed the idea of having that dome removal able for certain reasons. It was designed to come off as I showed. But they decided to glue it, and that will also melt the plastic together. I don't recommend taking it off unless you really want to for the backpack android look. You can still change heads by pulling the armor off as I also showed with the dome on. I really wanted mine off, and it took some heat and work, I even broke a clip in the back because I started rushing. The promotional images show that the dome is completely removable. But not from the comments I have heard from people getting these in hand now.
I Just picked this guy up at ToysRus here in Canada and unfortunately the dome is glued in place. I also had one of the robot tentacles broken out of the box.

It's supposed to be removable like I removed mine to use on the Android backpack if you wanted to with the other head. I also heard a few comments now on Broken Tentacles. Maybe try to return it or use CS glue to repair it depending where it broke!
I did some customizing to make it fit, if you get the helmet off, it takes a bit of work ( be careful) just cut some notches where the tabs from the helmet goes and twist on the alt. Piece and it will go
I showed all that in this review! I took the helmet off and showed the noches and even had one break because I forced it. The helmet was supposed to be removable from the promotional images. But I guess they decided to glue it on for certain reasons with shipping or weak pegs.
I just got mine today! But damn, I had the same problem with the bubble helmet. Two rear pegs/slats snapped off. It was also glued like yours. They really should be more attentive to QC issues, because if you have autistic spectrum disorder, like me, or are very bothered by to broken though they work, then be ready to find yourself in our shoes.
But really, other than that, this figure is ALMOST worth the slight broken pieces. It's really KOOL!!

It's risky taking that off because of the gluexand breaking pegs as you seen. But I wanted mine off so I went for it. Aside from that. I'm glad you like the figure and review!👍
Lmao 🤣 Everyone needs a pair of Cybernetic Shorts. They got cooling fans to keep your junk cool. lol. This figure is incredible. Can't wait to get him. Im pretty much up to date on masterverse and Origins. Till the newer stuff drops...Cartoon and New Box masterverse. I got everything i pretty much wanted. Passed on a few things i wasn't interested in. Maybe that 🤔 dome was supposed to be glued. You unbuckle the armor and the whole piece comes off. Then you swap heads.

The dome was designed to come off and that's what the promotional images also showed so you can use it on the other backpack like I showed. But you don't have to take it off to change heads. You can take the armor off like I also showed and you mentioned. Maybe Mattel changed that idea and told the factory to glue them on. Or they had communication between Mattel and the factory! Yeah, you don't have to remove the dome to change the head. I showed that. I removed the dome in order to use it on the Android backpack with the head as it was originally designed to do so. Yes you can easily just remove the armor to switch out the heads as I mentioned. But the glasses hood should be able to remove to put it on the other back pack or Android set up with a head on as I also showed or some of the promotional images had. He came out awesome for the Masterverse series! I couldn't stand that cartoon either! I'm guessing mine was glued as a mistake from the factory or they changed the idea of using that clear done on the Android back pack like I showed. The dome is glued on. You remove harness to change heads.

Just got 2 of this guy and unfortunately both of them had the dome glued. I dont know what they were thinking. Both of them had broken claw tentacles as well. Really sucks.
Nice pick-ups on these figures! I think they look really cool! That's unfortunate about your issues with the tentacles. I'm starting to think they just decided to glue that dome at the factory because it can fall off in shipping, and it's easy to break those tabs pulling it on and off. Never mine trying to cut the glue and remove it like I did.
@@Themanchlid it is a really cool figure even with the problems. I'm working on getting the dome off right now actually. It'll bug me to much untill I get it off. Lol!
@bcfowler82 That's good to hear you still like it. Be very careful taking that off. I used hot water at first, then a blower dryer with a small pry tool, and worked around the collar. If it gets stuck at a point. Then stop and heat it more.

Thanks for the review. This looks to be a rare occurance where the Masterverse surpasses the Classics. Mattel hasn't shipped new products to canada for any motu line in a VERY long time, and I randomly saw slush head at my local TRU today. I was stunned as it's been anout a year since I have seen anything new, and I essentially gave up on my favourite franchise bc Mattel sucks.. I wanted to watch a review first before picking it up, so thanks, I think I will. :) Will be a nice replacement for the classics version I had to sell off once upon a time.

So im not familiar with all the working parts in comparsion to this one aside the basic stuff and what I can see in the package. I think this figure came out awesome! There is a lot of fun stuff that can be done with the heads and accessories. I'm surprised you see him at your TRU. That's great! He still even hasn't been shown up in the USA yet! I picked mine up over seas. I would definitely pick this figure up for your collection! He is worth it👍
Yeah I was shocked to see him lol. we don't get ANYTHING here anyomore, it's really sad. Hasbro and Mcfarlane have been getting all my money instead.
I remember having to break my Classics Slush Head on the plastic dome part, in order to get the head to articulate. It was good to be able to fill it up with water, but this new wider second head mimics the look of having it filled with water as it made the head look fatter.

@@cropdustcaptain3059 MOTU is becoming becoming difficult to find In many areas now. A lot of the newer stuff is going online or very limited in stores. I didn't know that about the classics Slush head figure and that dome.
Okay so I went back to buy it, and I can confirm that mine has a glued-on dome. Doesn't budge. Debating whether or not to forefully remove it.@@Themanchlid

I have a feeling Mattel just decided to tell the factorys to glue those on so they don't fall of in the box. You technically don't need it to come off if you just want to change heads. You can just take the armor off with the dome attached like I also showed in the review. But if you want to pose your Slush head without that dome, or use it on the Android pack pack like the promotional images shows and I also showed that it fits perfect and makes the head on the back pack look creepy. Then you have to remove it. But it's easy to scratch and I don't recommend it unless you are careful.
I put the armor in a cup of really hot water for 10 minutes. Then I got a small flat head screw driver and pushed it in the collar at certain points. You see where it's loose and where glue is. I pushed it on an angle to break the glue slowly. And worked my way around. Watch those 4 seat pegs. I snapped one as you saw because I was trying to seperate the loose part of the helmet and that was another glue spot I missed. So heat it up again and take your time. You will have glue stuck to those seat pegs. Just leave it alone or sand them a little. Once you put the piece back on Slush head or that back pack and push the dome down. You don't even see them. I also cleaned the neck piece and dome with a rubbing alcohol pad.

It seems whenever you get these early you have issues with the figures.
Yeah because they are the first wave from the factorys and usually has the QC issues that are corrected with the next waves that ship. Thanks for stopping in as always 👍
I’m not as familiar with the vintage “New Adventures” He-Man toy line from the early 90s mainly because I was in high school and had outgrown MotU by that point. Slush Head and a lot of the other Galactic Protectors and Space Mutants just felt too different to me than the characters we got in the 80s. So, when you were first showing off Slush Head, I wasn’t really “feeling” the figure. The armor and accessories are what makes this, in my opinion. Without the tentacles and all of those weird configurations, he’s pretty “naked.” The multiple configurations you showed off give a whole new meaning to his “Space Mutant” designation, so perhaps that was the intent!
Did the vintage figure have some kind of water feature? At any rate, yeah, either the dome wasn’t meant to be removed that way or there was some miscommunication when the figures were put together in the factories. I’m inclined to think it’s the latter because, as you showed, it looks as it was meant to work for the other backpack as well. Great review! Thanks for showing all those weird configurations! They definitely added a better appreciation for this character!

I just got mine in today. The glass helmet from the armor is glued in on mine, so I cant remove it unless I heat it up and try to take it off.
Thanks for watching, and congrats on getting your figure now. Yeah, I have a feeling Mattel or the factory just decided to glue that dome to prevent it from falling off in the box. You can still change the heads out by just pulling the armor off like I showed with the dome on. But you can't use the dome on the Android backpack like I showed if you wanted to as the early promotional images show. I heated mine and just removed it. But you have to be careful doing that!

Yeah, i think they are from the comments I have gotten. Maybe it's something at the factory, or Mattel just decided to glue them on because of issues with the pegs breaking by removing the helmet off the collar and how thin they are. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments on your figure.

@matthewvandenbranden7629 I appreciate that! I never had the vintage Slush Head figure. I still have the Classics one in card. So I don't know how that works so well. I think original and classics can be filled with water in that helmet. Every comment I'm getting about this figure is saying that their dome is glued as well now! I think think he is really a great figure as well 👍

The Masterverse NA figures look good compared to the vintage ones. But this Slush Head design and his accessories are really cool! You can definitely have a lot of fun with all the set ups and combinations! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts ✌️

The assembler probably did not get all 3 memos to not glue the dome ;) Sux that happened, always a bummer to receive a faulty figure!
Yeah anything is possible at the factory during assembly! It's common to see certain mistakes or QC issues with early release figures. Hopefully this won't be an issue with the US Target exclusives release versions to come. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts on this figure and review 👍

Thanks for stopping in as always bro! Yeah these are common QC issue Risks with getting a figure early or the ones over seas. I had to work at it a little to remove that piece. It still works good even with the broken part I snapped removing it from the glue.
At least the figures are getting better. I can't wait till we get snake men in this line. The detail will be great.@@Themanchlid
@@Sladeonslade They definitely are getting better with each wave! Some figures get more attention than others. The New Adventures Skeletor is an example of that with the basic cape. But thats what customs or modifications are for! Oh Man the Snakemen will be a whole other level of Awesome figures if and when they come to the Masterverse line!👍💯
This is one of those rare occurances where the figure looks loads better in the promo shots then i does in real life.
They did a really good job on this figure. Aside the dome being glued on mine, which it's not supposed to be like the promotional images show. He looks really great in hand! Thanks for watching and sharing your comments 👍
do all the slush heads have glued domes?
I'm guessing they do now from the comments I have received. It's either a factory decision or Mattel decided to just glue them in place so they don't fall off in shipping.

I don’t think the dome was meant to come off. To change the head, you were meant to remove the armor.
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! Yes you can easily remove the armor to change the head without removing the dome as I showed in the video at some point. But the promotional images shows that dome is supposed to come off to use it on the the other Android set up or Swamp water back pack like I also showed and the dome off the armor fits perfect on it. The Swamp water piece is also showed to fit the body like that promotional image I also showed. You need to remove the helmet to do that. I think it was a mistake at the factory to glue these, or they changed the idea not to be able to use it for thosexset ups!

@@jtbrunick Yeah it's happened before were they make last minute changes and then people find them with there figures in hand. This could just be a early QC issue or bad communication with the factory on setting that dome part and it should be removable as it is designed too be!
@@Themanchlid This one was of the few Masterverse figures we were planning on skipping or waiting for clearance. Hopefully they get it corrected.
@@jtbrunick I think they will fix this issue or they just decided not to make that dome removable now and glue it. You can still do most of the head changes. But you won't be able to use the dome on the other back pack then, which I think makes that head look even more creepy and cool inside of that helmet.

Yes. I showed that in the video. You don't have to remove the dome to change heads. But the dome is supposed to be removable to use it on the Android back pack if you wanted to as the promotional images originally showed. I also showed why in the review.

The promotional images show the dome is supposed to come off and fit on the Android back pack like I showed it does. I also showed you can remove the armor without taking the dome off to change the head. I think the idea was changed to just glue it on now. I wanted mine off. So I made it happen and it works fine!👍
I was curious if the purple dome can fit in the front but looks unlikely. The pegs don't seem to match. 🤔
One head is toon based. The other is toy, it seems. 🤔
Yeah the the one head seems more filmation inspired and the other seems more series going back to the Classics.
