Woodturning - Glacier Easter Egg

It's almost Easter, so it's time to turn an Easter egg.
For the bottom part I used my silicon mold to get an uneven structure, painted it with a layer of black acrylic paint and added two layers of resin with a "ghost blue" pigment to get the glacier effect.
Adding the clear resin on top and it's time for the lathe.
The egg ended up looking real nice, even though you can see some tiny annoying dust particles, if the light hits the egg in the right angle.
