- Black First Land First has partnered with former President Jacob Zuma's uMkhonto weSizwe Party. Earlier this week, the parties reached an endorsement deal during a meeting in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal. Just one month after the party's formation, the MK has attracted the African Congress for Transformation, the All African Alliance Movement and the Pan African Congress.
BLF President Andile Mngxitama speaks to Dudizile Ramela about this alliance.

Thank you Mr Mngxitama. We have been waiting for a while for your formal move to join hands with MK. MK need more fanatical leaders like you. Hey you are an 'engineer'... can you explain the first pillar of the EFF in terms of the 25 year lease period and who decides, who appoints and on what basis are tenants allowed to use that land again. I share your thoughts on South Africa having all these political parties as a way to keep us divided as black people. It is all meant to divide us. I believe there should be a limit in the number of political parties, maybe 3 or 5 for example. Land distribution is for politicians to ponder but land restitution is a matter for South Africans to demand from those who stole their land and no compensation should be entertained, at all; they know who these thieves are. Mind you this land was stolen and taken by brutal force so if the South Africans have to be violent to regain their land, so be it. South Africans should not be intimidated by those who are preaching that there would be a civil way if land is taken without compensation.
Land distribution without compensation is the only answer. If this is not done the Black South Africans will continue to live like slaves in their own land.
