Very good, very good. Educational as well as entertaining. I'm going to experiment with various types of pigments to color hydrostone. I don't have mineral powders right now so I'm going to go with acrylic or watercolor. Just want a uniform ivory color for my bas relief and finish it with wax.

I have a really cracked driveway, and I thought it would be cool to fill the cracks with a coloured concrete or epoxy. Do you think this would work for such an application? thanks

@concreteconcrete I’ve seen videos where they use Henry’s concrete featherfinish patch to make a faux concrete counter... do you think you could make a marble effect counter with a technique like this?

I think it's great that you left the mismeasurement or mismix or mishap in the beginning. If you would have edited it out or started over, and I do it and it's too wet, at least I can see that it's nothing I did wrong and will know that it does happen to others. Most importantly, I'll know how to fix it! I think that businesses that put out perfect videos do their customers/students an injustice... "I did it just like he did and it didn't come out right. Mine's too wet! What did I do wrong??? I must be an idiot!!!". I can really respect and appreciate you and Concrete Concrete for that. If I ever have a need to make dinner plate-sized concrete that looks like colorful marble, I will be sure to buy from you and Concrete Concrete. As for now, I'm staining a concrete floor and looking for ideas/instructions on how to make the concrete floor look like marble... Unfortunately, I've been using a semi transparent water based product from Sherwin Williams called Infusion. The homeowner couldn't find the colors he wanted and bought a solid color acrylic stain from Lowe's. It is so thick!!! The infusion is water based and can be applied with a pump sprayer. This acrylic stuff has to be rolled on! How do I make that look like marble??? LOL

If you're mix it too wet you can spread it on a piece of weathered plywood or wood board and it will pull out a lot of the water .
