I went speed dating years ago with a group of friends and had a blast. One of my friends actually ended up marrying one of the guys she matched with.

oh I just love her! This week the leaves have REALLY changed. So beautiful. Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone is so hard but I'm so glad I did it. It's always worth it!

It's hard to put yourself out there when you do something totally out of your norm. However I really loved it!

I can't say I ever thought of speed dating or many of the ways they have to meet people these days. When I was young everyone said it happens when you don't expect it. I am married 18 years. It must be hard to be young and single in this world today. I was set up on a blind date with my husband. He is a bit older than me and we met a bit later in life too. I think finding someone older who already had a home and career was really a good thing for our lifestyle, but we are the older parents when you look at my kids friends. At least you had fun...your hair/makeup/outfit looked really pretty in the clip on your way to go to it. I am getting ready for a busy weekend with Soccer season starting for my son and a dear friend's son (my son's best friend) is having their bar mitzvah this weekend. I would love to exchange holiday cards. I usually do a family picture photo card but it's harder and harder to get my kids to pose for a photo...so last year we ended up skipping it, but my husband usually wants me to do them for his business associates, otherwise I will pick up an assortment. Being single is very hard. Guys now a days want one thing and it seems to be that generation of dating. Not my style. Can you do me a favor and send me your address on instagram? I should have it here somewhere but I can't seem to find it! haha I would love to send you a card. You mentioned that your husband is a little older, had a career, and his own home. This is why dating is hard for older guys, mid 40's. If a guy in his mid 40's doesn't have a degree, a career, and his own home, he is basically worthless.
I don't get it send many cards myself because of my hands. It's hard to write so if you don't mind sloppy or having someone help me write one, usually get a nurse to help me write a few lines and I sign my name.
