- In the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia a group of dirt bike riders calling themselves the One Wheel Bandits (OWB) roam the streets, performing dangerous stunts on public roads, often riding in packs of twenty or more.
To the police and the media, they are a threatening menace, but that's not the full story. Don't Panic takes a closer look at OWB, joining them on the streets to learn what drives them to risk their lives on the back of a dirt bike. Is this purely reckless criminal behavior? Or is riding dirt bikes keeping them away from more serious crime?
The only drama as for me the way i see it....and believe me i support riding hard and if thats your drug bro its better then other thing you could be doing.....I never ran over a rider but i have ran someone over, over 20yrs later i still suffer with PTSD was pretty fukd up scene....just take that in mind if you end up underneath a car that person has to live with it....and you may today think its a honourably death to the boys but to everyone else its a dumb way to die.

Mad skills boys, didn't realise we had lads doing this in Australia, only seen it from Florida and Texas. Get a licence and a regod dirtbike, run fake plates, won't look as bad to public eye. You gotta understand how reckless you look from the general publics eye. The story about the shotgun is insane. But the fact you open admit to caring a gun I can assure you the police are looking for you, stay safe

Stick to country roads away from cars and go for your life, there’s just to much risk in to many ways doing what you do.
Hitting a pedestrian including children, hitting a car and damaging it leaving the car owner with no way to recover the cost to get their cars fixed and you are also risking yourselves, your pocket, drivers license and getting a criminal record. Yes road users fear you because what you do overwhelms people which in itself can cause an accident.
Ride safe and keep it away out of sight.

We used to ride from Epping to the city via darebin creek in the early 2000s, crossed a few roads but stuck to the dirt. We shoveled jumps near Bundoora golf course hit those every day after work. I think I seen a few of you around Roxy. Come ride dirt, it's more fun!

a little contradictory, one min you say you're happy for everyone to ride, the next you say you're not a big fan of it. Overall some decent skills though and probably better than 80% of the cars on the road. All it's going to take is one mess up and you hit a car with a family in it.
