      Please answer this question, I have no idea what to do 2 hours before going bed when there's no technology. What is there to do? Because, technology plays a huge part, so without it feels empty 👽👀

      I had that same issue. However, last night I Meditated before going to bed and it helped a lot. By not laying down, sitting up, and "going to sleep", it preped me for sleep and I'll be doing that instead of a phone screen from now on

    And so i am here, in my nightshift watching this on my computer, in the controleroom with artificial light at 3:45AM, only knowing that i will have 4 hours of crappy daytime sleep before i can take my young kids from the daycare. Don't hate my job at all, but working in a so called Shell Shift Schedule (2 earlys, 2 late and 2 nightshifts) for 12 years, it had a big toll on my body. Love your content man, keep it up.

    Is it REM sleep or Deep Sleep that is hormonally beneficial? Or is it both? HGH is a big factor also, which also sadly reduces with age.
    I track my sleep with Dreem2 headband (no longer available to public, sadly) and have done for 3 years now. Deep is noticeably dwindling in this 52 year old specimen, despite following most of the advice given here. Gonna aim to be asleep earlier, as Deep is usually found early on in night, with REM following in second half of night.

    One of the worst things I have problems with, sleep. I have had horrible RLS fir over 20 years, but I am just beginning to understand it might have something to do with Glutamic acid(MSG).

    Rem sleep is not the deepest state of sleep, but in a way the most shallow one (since your brain is awake processing). Rem sleep is vital for health, but do you mean deep sleep in the video (around 1:30 onwards)?

    Quality sleep is rem sleep? REM is rapid eye movement state which is not as good as NREM(Non rapid eye movement) sleep. Deep sleep(the state you dont dream in ur sleep) and growth hormones only occur in NREM.
