- Well hullo new Grand Hotel, fancy meeting you here! Having only just rebuilt the old version, what did I find on my Kmart shelves but the new one. So dang excited. So let's see what this pastel pink and purple mansion has to offer. Is it an upgrade on the previous version, or does it not stand up to the hype? Well, let's build it and see! There's finally a Lego version of River in minidoll form, and he has the best shiny tuxedo in town.
Hi! If you've just dropped by, I'm Ellie! Stick around and I'll build for you while I review new sets. I tend to geek out about new pieces, interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I'm easily distracted so I get stuff wrong which I fix up, mostly, but in the end there is always an awesome model ready for play and display. Huzzah for Lego, the building and creating tool for anybody, no matter what age you are!

They cut down number of pieces from bigger sets so that they can make smaller sets but in limited pieces. Haven't you noticed there are more sets this year 🤔🤔 maybe

I think the round white pieces are in Sweet Mayhem’s ship but in a different color? I’m not sure, that set is very rounded so it reminds me of it.
