As a 27 year old man. It has been years that I've heard preaching with so much care and conviction for everyone in the crowd. It doesn't cast down judgement but only truth in love. Like a parent who loves their son or daughter. This warmed my heart. I hope our generation Pastors coming up can find a voice like how God used Pastor Billy Graham.
Billy graham taught numerous false teachings, you want a few examples, I have a list. If a preachers words, teachings contradict and falsify plainly written scripture, then who is wrong, the preachers teachings or scripture?

One such example is how he repeated preached that "the moment you receive Christ, the moment you open your heart and surrender to Him as Lord and Master and Savior, At That Moment your name is written in the book of life". This sounds wonderful, it sounds correct, however it is plainly written in Revelation 13:8 that the book of life Was Written at the foundation if the world!!! Therefore, you cannot get your name written into a book that God already wrote at the foundation of the world, that is to say God already wrote the names down before He created the world, before He created mankind. Billy deceived many people with this false teaching. Another one is how Billy stated, " The Bible Teaches that there are at least three kinds of hell, perhaps even as many as seven or eight". There are some 50 verses that speak of hell, and all illustrate that there is only one kind of hell, a place of sorrow and torment. Nowhere else within scripture are these other kinds of hell spoken of. These are just two of the many examples, I have the dates and locations of where he preached these false teachings and even more. If you need more examples I'll gladly give them to you.

I was 23 y/o when he preached this, and not at all saved, nor in a church. This may have helped me avoid some seriously bad decisions I later made. Today, I live for Christ. I just want to say one thing about "just as I am". God accepts you just as you are, but then true believers repent of their sins and sinful lifestyle to the point of turning from certain past-times, or friendships that are not pleasing to God. Asking God into your heart is just the first step. Repentance is the second and then a life-long step in dealing with our sin-nature. Remember, you will be known by your "fruit". (I love how everyone was dressed-up for 'church'.)
I found him after I sank so low. I've known about God and ignored him. I regret not knowing God. I can understand how by following him sooner I could've lived a more fulfilling life. Even after being saved I feel guilty for rejecting his way. Satan still taunts me with lust but God in his graciousness still helps me. I love you so much God. Love of God is so huge that it descends upon the least of the people. From an ancestry full of idol worshippers.we never knew Jesus, but then when dad was 24 in his death bed praying to idols..none answered but Loving Jesus came to him and healed him ,made him live again.He Loved strangers like us and made us his own. Now dad and mom are pastors for over 33 years and the entire family are pastors. Our entire relatives chased my father and mother away as they were converted.we stood homeless yet with God's love nestled in our heart. God raised us higher than those that chased us.Now Whenever we hear someone speak of God's love, we come to tears. His love is eternal.

I’m 60 years old now. I’ve been to different churches. I find they cater to the people. To fluff them up and send them on their way each week. So I found Billy Graham. He covers it all. I am a sinner. I should repent daily! I should spend time with the Lord daily. If I stand alone in flesh because of my love for him then I will gladly do it!

I'm 72. years old but when I was 18 years old when I first listened to Billy G. I was inspired to the acknowledgment of the importance of coming to know Jesus Christ in spirit and truth . To this day I believe in the living God wholeheartedly and a strong assurance that he's my all .

I grew up in nondenominational churches. I’ve been to many and “Christian” schools growing up. My life changed when I met this family three years ago who actually lived like the Bible was the Word of God and obeyed it. A year ago, I talked to the mother of this family looking for a church. She invited me to hers (A first baptist church) and very soon after that I heard the true gospel of Jesus Christ (the one most churches dilute as to not offend the seekers and thus who take away their disease “sin” and thence remove their possibility for a prescription “faith alone in Christ alone by grace alone”) and I became a born-again Christian (like Jesus tells Nicodemus the religious leader of Israel at the time in John 3:3-10 (3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?). I knew from the past what it was like to have “youth group high” and the experience of good music at church. But it wasn’t until March 4, 2020 that I knew what it meant to be born again. I got really humble before God and told Him,”Tie me to the altar and burn away everything in me that isn’t of you. I admit that I have sinned against you and I give up trying to run my own life.” In less than 24 hours, a lady who is like an aunt to me texted me (for the first time in months) and invited me to a “deliverance” meeting. I told her I couldn’t go because of the time but she responded that she would get me the book. By the end of the week, I was in her kitchen crying about the things happening in my life that I didn’t understand. She gave me this book called Deliverance by Patricia Joy that was all about the spiritual realm and basically Ephesians 6:12 (12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.) Over the next couple months in prayer with the prayer guide “The Hour that Changes the World,” I started to realize that God had changed me-that I didn’t struggle with the same problems I used to (tv, lust, etc). Instead, I had a craving for the things of God and the Word of God. In September of last year, I got baptized at this church where I became a citizen of the one true Church (the body of Christ). I share all of this in hopes that my testimony might lead others to find salvation in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I know from my upbringing that being a part of the modern-day church doesn’t mean one is saved. So, maybe this post is for you or someone else here. I’m not sure. I just wish someone had shared their testimony with me to wake me out of my American gospel slumber sooner. 💜💜💜 I highly recommend the movie The American Gospel: Christ Alone. It costs $4 to rent on Amazon prime or TH-cam but it’s throughly worth every penny. It was captivating and so SO informative. It’s a breath of fresh air in a time where truth is hard to come by.
As a 27 year old man. It has been years that I've heard preaching with so much care and conviction for everyone in the crowd. It doesn't cast down judgement but only truth in love. Like a parent who loves their son or daughter. This warmed my heart. I hope our generation Pastors coming up can find a voice like how God used Pastor Billy Graham.

One such example is how he repeated preached that "the moment you receive Christ, the moment you open your heart and surrender to Him as Lord and Master and Savior, At That Moment your name is written in the book of life". This sounds wonderful, it sounds correct, however it is plainly written in Revelation 13:8 that the book of life Was Written at the foundation if the world!!! Therefore, you cannot get your name written into a book that God already wrote at the foundation of the world, that is to say God already wrote the names down before He created the world, before He created mankind. Billy deceived many people with this false teaching. Another one is how Billy stated, " The Bible Teaches that there are at least three kinds of hell, perhaps even as many as seven or eight". There are some 50 verses that speak of hell, and all illustrate that there is only one kind of hell, a place of sorrow and torment. Nowhere else within scripture are these other kinds of hell spoken of. These are just two of the many examples, I have the dates and locations of where he preached these false teachings and even more. If you need more examples I'll gladly give them to you.

I was 23 y/o when he preached this, and not at all saved, nor in a church. This may have helped me avoid some seriously bad decisions I later made. Today, I live for Christ. I just want to say one thing about "just as I am". God accepts you just as you are, but then true believers repent of their sins and sinful lifestyle to the point of turning from certain past-times, or friendships that are not pleasing to God. Asking God into your heart is just the first step. Repentance is the second and then a life-long step in dealing with our sin-nature. Remember, you will be known by your "fruit". (I love how everyone was dressed-up for 'church'.)

From an ancestry full of idol worshippers.we never knew Jesus, but then when dad was 24 in his death bed praying to idols..none answered but Loving Jesus came to him and healed him ,made him live again.He Loved strangers like us and made us his own. Now dad and mom are pastors for over 33 years and the entire family are pastors.
Our entire relatives chased my father and mother away as they were converted.we stood homeless yet with God's love nestled in our heart. God raised us higher than those that chased us.Now

I’m 60 years old now. I’ve been to different churches. I find they cater to the people. To fluff them up and send them on their way each week. So I found Billy Graham. He covers it all. I am a sinner. I should repent daily! I should spend time with the Lord daily. If I stand alone in flesh because of my love for him then I will gladly do it!

I'm 72. years old but when I was 18 years old when I first listened to Billy G. I was inspired to the acknowledgment of the importance of coming to know Jesus Christ in spirit and truth .
To this day I believe in the living God wholeheartedly and a strong assurance that he's my all .

I grew up in nondenominational churches. I’ve been to many and “Christian” schools growing up. My life changed when I met this family three years ago who actually lived like the Bible was the Word of God and obeyed it. A year ago, I talked to the mother of this family looking for a church. She invited me to hers (A first baptist church) and very soon after that I heard the true gospel of Jesus Christ (the one most churches dilute as to not offend the seekers and thus who take away their disease “sin” and thence remove their possibility for a prescription “faith alone in Christ alone by grace alone”) and I became a born-again Christian (like Jesus tells Nicodemus the religious leader of Israel at the time in John 3:3-10 (3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

I knew from the past what it was like to have “youth group high” and the experience of good music at church. But it wasn’t until March 4, 2020 that I knew what it meant to be born again. I got really humble before God and told Him,”Tie me to the altar and burn away everything in me that isn’t of you. I admit that I have sinned against you and I give up trying to run my own life.” In less than 24 hours, a lady who is like an aunt to me texted me (for the first time in months) and invited me to a “deliverance” meeting. I told her I couldn’t go because of the time but she responded that she would get me the book. By the end of the week, I was in her kitchen crying about the things happening in my life that I didn’t understand. She gave me this book called Deliverance by Patricia Joy that was all about the spiritual realm and basically Ephesians 6:12 (12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.) Over the next couple months in prayer with the prayer guide “The Hour that Changes the World,” I started to realize that God had changed me-that I didn’t struggle with the same problems I used to (tv, lust, etc). Instead, I had a craving for the things of God and the Word of God. In September of last year, I got baptized at this church where I became a citizen of the one true Church (the body of Christ). I share all of this in hopes that my testimony might lead others to find salvation in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I know from my upbringing that being a part of the modern-day church doesn’t mean one is saved. So, maybe this post is for you or someone else here. I’m not sure. I just wish someone had shared their testimony with me to wake me out of my American gospel slumber sooner. 💜💜💜
I highly recommend the movie The American Gospel: Christ Alone. It costs $4 to rent on Amazon prime or TH-cam but it’s throughly worth every penny. It was captivating and so SO informative. It’s a breath of fresh air in a time where truth is hard to come by.
